My first vist to this establishment and now one of my favorites in all of NEPA!
Started with a cup of Matzo ball soup. Perfect flavor!
I had an amazing NY style Pastrami Reubin. Portion size for the sandwich rivals all others. The homemade pickles had a perfect blend of flavor and crunch. My wife had the Mediterranean sampler- again, the flavors and freshness were beyond compare.
Service was prompt and very pleasant.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was super good, and the workers were very kind and helpful! The pastrami I got was delicious and fulfilling! I would definitely recommend going here!

Great place!
Notice they close at 16:00.. we arrived 20 minutes before, and couldn’t sit, and the grill was closed
But we still think this place is awesome!

Great Jewish Delicatessen. Love the Tuna Melts and potato pancakes with apple sauce. I have had many selections and all the food is made fresh. Excellent dishes

Abe’s is a kosher deli. The food was top notch. I had the pastrami on rye, the sandwich was perfect. The pastrami tasted yummy and the rye bread was fresh and lightly toasted. We also try the knish, which was also very good. We left there full and pleasantly delighted. It was so good we planning our next trip to Abe’s.

Great pitstop! On our way down from Toronto, we stopped by Scranton naturally because of The Office. A quick google search revealed this little spot in town. Great customer service and great food. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and was actually given a different sandwich which I’m glad I got. I’m not exactly sure what it was because it didn’t have cheese so I don’t think it was a Reuben. But delicious nonetheless. Would love to stop by here on my next trip down south.

This is real deal Kosher deli food. Take is from a guy who has been to delis all over New York City. The Matzo ball soup us great and so is the pastrami. If it has formica countertops and Dr. Brown’s Celery Soda. You know it is legit. You feel as if you are going back in time here. Helping preserve this food for future generations.

If you are near Abe’s Deli you really should stop in. We were greeted by a number of very friendly staff. From the moment you walked in, you knew you’re in a very popular spot. A number of people came in and where greeted by name. And the pastrami reuben and oatmeal raisin were excellent.

Food was next level! The Rueben was the best I’ve ever had. Bread was perfectly toasted. Potato pancakes were great, Mac salad amazing. Service was great too. 5/5, no notes. Will definitely be back!
