Absolutely delicious!! The sauteed onions on the side with the tacos made the whole meal even better! My son said his burrito was the best Mexican food from a restaurant he ever had. This is a drive-through only location, as far as I can tell, so be prepared to take it home, find a picnic table at a park, or get extra napkins! We will definitely be back!

When I say I love this place. I mean it.
The food is always hot and so good! My husband and I have been slowly trying everything on the menu, and we haven’t been disappointed yet. Perfect comfort food for me. I always feel full and happy with everything. My favorite to get is definitely the queso birria tacos and the chips and queso. I definitely recommend giving it a try! So great. Can’t praise it enough! ❤️❤️❤️✨

First time at this location I’m from Iowa where we have many of them but I will say it was amazing and will definitely come back food was really hot only thing is I wish they had a area to go inside and order maybe even eat but other then that great place to go I highly recommend it

Absolutely check your order before you leave the window. I asked for queso (on the side) of my chimmi instead of melted shredded cheese (gross) also inside instead shredded cheese. I said it several times at the speaker and also again at the window and I expected to pay extra, no extra charge and I thought ok, that was nice but when I got home… No queso. All melted shredded cheese. Ruined the whole dish. What I got was not worth $15. Didn’t even get chips. I’d rather go inside somewhere for what I paid. No flavor either. Will not be going back. My mom loves their taco day though.

I waited a week to post this review because I wanted to be sure I felt the same way one week later, and well I do so here we are. I pulled up at approx 8 PM on a week night ordered my food was flabbergasted that the prices for a drive thru only restaurant were higher than sit down Mexican restaurants. I waited nearly 30 minutes for a chimichanga, a chile releno & Chips and salsa. The food was absolutely FLAVORLESS. Nothing had flavor like no seasonings used. NO LOVE IN THIS FOOD!!! They did have little containers of hot sauce and salsa verde I do not know if homemade but the hot sauce was the best part. I dipped my chips in that cuz the salsa… also flavorless. You can not charge sit down restaurant prices in a drive thru. Make people wait longer than a sit down restaurant, serve sub par at best food & expect to get good reviews. I will stick to Laguna Brava & Xochimilco. I am convinced that it only survives due to lack of options in that area.

Abelardo’s has the best food! Asada tacos, tostadas, chips and queso, asada burrito and an egg, cheese and bacon burrito to die for! The food is always fresh and delicious.

The tamale was good. Everything else was not. Chile Relano burrito and tacos were inedible. We took a couple bites and threw them in the trash. Queso was watery and flavorless. Carne Asada burrito was ok, but didn’t have enough meat. Tortillas were stale. We dropped over $50 on food we threw in the trash.

I really hate that their food is good but the service terrible. I have ordered here frequently but they only get my order right about 20 percent of the time & I’m not ordering any modified menu items. They often forget part of the order and you can’t just go back through the line without waiting an additional 20 minutes.
If you order online they give an estimated pickup time, but when you get there ( lunch time between 1130 to 1) you will wait 20 minutes in line only to get to the window & realize they haven’t even prepared the order yet so it’s another 10 minutes of wait time. I have been ordering here since this place opened, in the begining they made a few mistakes here & there but it has gradually gone down hill. There are issues every time I order now. Either they make the wrong item or forget part of the order., If you call to discuss it there is a communication barrier & even if they did agree to fix it you would still have to go through the 20 minute line to pick up the items they forgot.
Maybe it’s better during non peak times but if you must order here…avoid peak lunch and dinner times.

The fried tacos were very good. I think this could be my favorite on the menu . First time trying them. The woman at the drive up window, makes it even better always got a big smile and nice.

After multiple attempts I’m leaving a less than stellar review in hopes for improvement. Not being snarky, but my Spanish isn’t good enough to explain it to them at the pickup window. My complaint is, I make an online order and when I arrive to pick up my order, it takes so long waiting in line that when I finally get my food it’s cold. I guess I’ll either start ordering at the window, since I have to wait anyway.
