Update from 3 Stars to 4/5 for day shift, I spoke with the store manager whom remade the pizza on a different day during day shift, or pizza was prepared and cooked perfectly. We will still eat there earlier in the day.
It seems the last year our service and food from Abby’s in Winston is not up to par. This Abby’s Special was delivered to us tonight, the crust is not cooked all the way it is limp and half cooked, the amount of toppings were not a complaint other than the fact that every Abby’s Special pizza to supposed to be topped with cheese to keep all the toppings from falling off. The limp pizza when picked up immediately lost all the toppings from no cheese on top. The pepperoni as even limp from lack of being cooked all the way. I shouldn’t have to ask for the top cheese on an Abby’s Special if that’s the way it’s supposed to come. I called immediately. No resolve.

Legendary pizza and spuds never disappoint. Dining rooms could use updated and more contemporary features but it’s been the same for a very long time and the community and regular customers don’t mind the normalcy. Prices are high but still worth it for special occasions.

This location has been so gracious to us. We got stranded due to a bad alternator after visiting the wildlife safari. They not only allowed us to stay in their cool and comfortable restaurant but gave us a pizza and sodas. I have my 70 yr old mother, my husband and my two children with me. They have been incredibly helpful. Thank you from this Salem family that is having an unexpected challenge.

Great family experience. I was there with family from out of state . When we pull up to Abby’s, it was super busy. We talked about going elsewhere, to eat, but decided to stay and give it a try. I was very impressed at how fast our pizza came out even with all the other orders. These guys can jam. Great selection of beer, pizza was delicious, and came out as ordered. This 4 star rating could have easily been a 5 if table side service was offered on out visit.

Ordered to pick up 20 minute time given. Got there and pizza was just put in oven which was fine. We also ordered a chop salad and small spuds. Waited another 20 minutes. Had to go and remind them that we were waiting for our order. Order was done and waiting. We had to remind them about the chopped salad. Chopped salad looked as if someone had taken out of the garbage and hadn’t eaten it all. When questioning them about the quantity and quality, their response was that corporate has dictated quantity, there was nothing they could do. Pizza had very little BBQ sauce and very dry. This isn’t the service or quality of food we usually recieve. We will be heading over to Roseburg Abbys where we know the service is exceptional.
