Food was okay, but I was really disappointed with the molcajete. It was extremely spicy, and I specifically told the server I don’t do spicy. She told me it shouldn’t be and said she would ask—then never came back. She also didn’t check on us again after that.
On top of that, I asked if I could switch the cactus for an extra piece of meat and was told no… yet they added extra cheese, which was fine but I would’ve paid extra for the meat if needed.
The only positive was the other server with the blonde bun—she checked in even though we weren’t her table and was genuinely attentive.
I’ve been here multiple times before and always had great food and service, but sadly it just isn’t the same anymore. I won’t be coming back.

Amazing food and service. Had the Abasolo combo plate. Everything on it was delicious. Tortillas are fresh made, warm, and really really good. And Juliet was a great server. Very kind and friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely visit again.

Great service, great food and great location. The waitress was so nice and she packed my stuff securely so it didn’t open. The food was hot and fresh . It had plenty of flavor and was delicious. I recommend this place for breakfast especially. Thanks for the great experience.

First time to visit , curios to see how it looks inside , last time I was on that area back in the late 80s still was a supermarket.
Lots of memories, have to agree with many reviewers, food was amazing ! Season to perfection, I travel all over Houston , and stop a t different places , and can tell you this is a place you must go and taste the food
