Pops birthday dinner celebration with friends. The dining experience was wonderful and the food was delicious. My table mates & I started with the Wedge Salad(s), oh my word! The crispy pork belly chunks were a welcomed addition and surprise! We enjoyed shrimp cocktail in a martini glass (yum) and my friends had steak & lobster, lobster Oscar, and grouper Oscar Not one thing missing from a delicious meal. I would have given 5 starts all the way except for the incredibly long wait for wine order to come with dinner entrees. Those who ordered wine, unfortunately their food got cold waiting for it. That should’ve been avoided at all costs.
Desserts did not disappoint. The key lime pie with toasted meringue was a huge hit, as was the key lime sorbet and the profiteroles were so so, nothing unique or really special, but was okay.

Delightful experience dining at A&B Lobster House in Key West this week. Don’t be fooled by the low rating, dragged down by odd reviews! Beautiful location overlooking the marina in the Key West bight. Pavel was our waiter, did a fantastic job, helped us navigate the menu. Attentive but not intrusive!
Dinner was excellent, cocktails followed by Pinot Grigio, grilled scallop with caviar, crab cakes, and triple-tail catch of the day, rare menu item … all delicious! Great location, fine dining! Ambiance awesome. Highly recommend!

A& B was A++ no B’s ! Sit outside overlooking the yachts & the sea ! Service was excellent & entertaining- Steve was his name we think he has been there a long time – This was the best Caribbean lobster Ever ! From appetizers & cocktails to wine with dinner & desert all were 5 ⭐️ ! Others enjoyed the Yellow Queen Snapper with crabmeat looked fab as well ! Bananas foster key lime pie wow – the shrimp cocktail was good mayb 4/5 on that one – everyone enjoyed !

Three of us ate outside on a Sunday night in early November. It was an amazing dining experience.
The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. The shrimp cocktail was one of the best we’ve had and the pear salad was wonderful. The entrees were incredible. Caribbean lobster tail, seared tuna and red shrimp and scallops with fettuccine. The Key lime sorbet for dessert was very nice.
Our server Casey was terrific. Super accommodating of all our requests.
This is fine dining at its best. Amazing food, superb service and a great atmosphere. We eat here whenever we vacation in the area and definitely recommend this restaurant.

Reservations are highly recommended, but if you arrive early, there’s a waiting bar, so no stress. The A&B butter mold is a fun, charming touch. The waitstaff are attentive and happy to walk you through the menu if you have questions. If you sit outside, the nighttime water view is beautiful and worth timing your reservation around.

Lovely setting (we sat outside on the deck with a beautiful view of the water/marina) and the food (lobster bisque, clam chowder, lobster thermidor, lobster tail) was absolutely amazing. One of the best meals ever.

Everything was absolutely delicious. Our service was amazing. Michael won us all over with his suggestions and as I was torn between the lobster and the scallops he made it happen that I got both. The espresso martinis were on point in the old-fashioned which is their house drink was fabulous. The creme brulee was outstanding and the key lime pie was the best we have had so far. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are here!! Thank you Michael

Absolutely phenomenal! We had the absolute BEST time eating here during our family vacation. We started with the Oysters, which were so delicious. We each got a mixture of food and tried little bits of each, between the Tuna Steak, Alaskan King Crab Legs, Surf & Turf, and more…. Every single dish was perfectly cooked and plated. The staff was also just as pleasant as the food and are very attentive as well. Im also obsessed with the old-school type bar/bathroom in this place as well. Its a Key West GEM! We can not wait to come back!

I had an amazing dining experience here. I ordered the filet mignon and a truffle risotto, and both were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The meal started with warm bread and butter shaped with the restaurant’s initials, such a thoughtful detail. We sat in the outdoor seating area, which was lovely and made the evening even more enjoyable. I also tried the Espresso Martini, which was excellent and tasted like a coffee dessert. Highly recommend!

AB Lobster in Key West is a must-visit for both the food and the setting. The view while dining is absolutely incredible—breathtaking scenery that makes the whole experience unforgettable. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The dessert was delicious and a sweet finish to the meal. The drinks, however, were a bit of a letdown compared to everything else, especially given how high-quality the food was. Still, the overall experience was wonderful. Between the fantastic seafood and one of the best views in Key West, I’d happily return to AB Lobster for the food and scenery alone.
