During our Europe tour, this Korean restaurant in Interlaken, Switzerland was a wonderful and memorable experience. For someone traveling from Asia to Europe, it felt like the perfect choice and a comforting yet exciting food experience.
The restaurant offers an amazing variety of dishes with authentic Korean taste, and honestly, every dish we tried was delicious. We ended up eating more here than on any other day of our entire trip—that alone says a lot!
A must-try is the peach soju and the hotpot—absolutely fantastic.
The restaurant is run by a hardworking Korean husband-and-wife team. Their hospitality is excellent, and the husband’s great sense of humor made the experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves Asian flavors, Korean food, and Korean culture, especially while traveling in Europe.

Decent Korean Food, but Not Quite What We Hoped For
We visited Aare Korean Restaurant in Interlaken after seeing many positive reviews online. It was a cold evening, and as big fans of Korean food, we were craving something warm and spicy.
The highlight of our meal was the sweet and spicy crispy fried chicken. It was certainly flavorful, crunchy, and easily the best dish we tried. They also had a nice mango bottled drink that we enjoyed.
The rest of the dishes felt a bit underwhelming. The spicy bulgogi chicken and ramen with egg were okay but didn’t quite deliver the depth and richness of flavors we usually expect from Korean cuisine.
Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re in the area and want something warm, but if you’re a big Korean food lover, this restaurant may not fully hit the spot.

The food is great! I was craving for samgyup after long hours of Switz tour. This is a great place to dine. The moment I entered, the aroma instantly hits us.
The staff are accomodating and friendly. It’s great to see fellow ‘kabayans’/ Filipinos around. They welcomed us and provided hospitability during our stay.

Absolutely loved this Korean BBQ spot! The food was delicious and the BBQ was especially good! The owner is incredibly nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Service was very fast and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re craving great Korean food!

Was craving Asian food, and found out there was a Korean restaurant so we had to go and try. 10/10, Definitely authentic Korean food, had the dolsot bibimbap and was surprised they had a tofu option as it’s rare to have that even in the U.S. it was very well seasoned along with the bibimbap sauce just the right amount of heat. The owner was there when we went, he was very accommodating Atmosphere is very welcoming along with their nice staff.

2. The good is equally delicious. We (group of 4) accidentally ordered 4 instead of 3 dishes but it was so good we ate them all.
3. We ordered all veggie options. We ordered Bibimbap, Japchaes, a rice noodle dish. It was all very delicious.
Overall a very good restaurant. Would definitely recommend it if you’re around this area.

Recommended by my uncle to try this Korean restaurant at Interlaken. My husband made a reservation so we were seated almost immediately once we reach. The restaurant was very crowded with Korean travel groups. We ordered the Kim chi soup, pork and chicken for bbq and ramen. All taste absolutely delicious and hearty in the cold weather. Restaurant owner was very hospitable too. Will recommend to give it a try when you are at Interlaken!
