We are visiting Atlanta for a few days. My husband is at a conference and my daughters and I needed to find a healthy gluten free meal. We ran into Aamar Indian Cuisine and it was AMAZING. The customer service went above and beyond. They give you an appetizer on the house – that is a fried chickpea something and it is sooo good. Being gf you don’t usually get that kind of thing. My girls both got butter chicken, and I got vegetable chicken. Everything tasted so good and the staff was so knowledgeable about allergies and made us feel important.

Located in downtown. Good location very close to all other places . Parking is paid .. had to park a few blocks away .. there are other parking spots closer to this restaurant too. It’s tough to locate this restaurant . From outside you hardly see the board or name visible. Lots of Georgia tech and GSU students eat here . There are also discounts for them .

Place inside was cozy . Tables and the space was small .. service was good. The guy (uncle) came and gave us some starters and also had a smiling face … we ordered and got the food extremely quick .. less than 5 mins we got the food :). Food taste was average though. College kids probably like it much , because they don’t cook 🙂 curries were bland and less spicy . Samosa was a bit oily . Paneer was good . They also had a bar with some Indian local beers .

Overall an average experience.. pricing wise it was good . Not too expensive . … 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m from Chicago. We don’t play when it comes to food. This place has great portion size, taste, and customer service. The man at the front was very friendly . My meal chicken biryani , an order of naan and 2 samosas came with a free water. It’s a tad bit pricey but worth it. The samosas were different from what I’ve had before, but still taste good.

Aamar Indian Cuisine in Atlanta offers authentic and flavorful dishes that truly capture the taste of India. The buffet is generous with a great variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, all well-seasoned and freshly prepared. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff is attentive and polite. A perfect spot for a satisfying, homestyle Indian meal in the city.

Me and my boyfriend are in Atlanta for a concert and we stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat lunch. I am so pleased with everything we had here. The vegetable samosas were so crispy and the inside was so flavorful. I got the lamb korma for my entree, the lamb was so tender and the curry sauce was so delicious. My boyfriend got the lamb jalfrazi and the mango lassi. He loved his food and drink, they were everything he was hoping they’d be! We loved everything so much we had to get some food to-go to eat later in our Airbnb! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for the food alone, but on top of the amazing food we also got ten out of ten service. Our waiter was so attentive, he checked up on us very often and made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I will make the four hour trip back to Atlanta just to come back. If you’re considering coming here. DO IT.

The servers were incredibly kind and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I loved the seating that overlooks the street ; it gave the meal such a nice, relaxed vibe. I tried the Butter Chicken, Chicken Vindaloo, and Garlic Naan, and everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Butter Chicken was creamy and rich, while the Vindaloo had just the right amount of heat. Overall, a great spot for authentic Indian food and warm hospitality!!

It’s a nice Indian Restaurant with a feel good factor. Staff is courteous and understands Hindi. We had Buttet Naan, Veg Biryani, Mix Veg and Samosa. All food was satisfactory.
Veg Biryani was winner by slight margin among other items. Biryani served with Raita.

Food was delicious and the service was so friendly and funny. We sat in the outdoor patio which has screens and heaters to help keep warm in winter, and it was perfect. Food was served in to go containers but was all delicious. The samosas were some of the best I’ve ever had, flaky and flavorful. The rum lassi (mango lassi + rum) was incredible. We stumbled in randomly but fully intend to come back on purpose.
