Okay A1!! I’ve lived in town 26 years and had never tried their pizza until last week, and it seems I’ve been missing out! As soon as I opened the pizza box, I knew it was going to be good. Tell me that isn’t a picture perfect pizza! The flavor, sauce to cheese ratio, and crust were all great. Even reheated the next day it was still awesome! Definitely adding this one into our takeout rotation in town, and it might even become our new go-to!

Fried calamari and clams were of the breaded supermarket kind,and way overcooked.the pizza was cafeteria kind, terrible crust, this was our first time ordering from them and will be our last. For what they charge we expected properly cooked and restaurant quality food.

I order from here for my son and I at least a couple times a month. We order out on Fridays and A1 is one of his favorites. He gets the cheeseburger and fries and I’ll get either the fried calamari appetizer, bbq wings, or the fried dough with sugar and all have been great. The staff that answer the phones and delivery drivers have all always been very polite. Definitely recommend!!

A1 has been mine and my families go to place for the last ten years. It’s always delicious, always early/on time when it comes to delivery, the prices are fair, and the workers are always pleasant! Favorite pizza in Naugatuck, hands down. The other food options have always been great too!

This is the one place I go to buy a delicious pizza since 2011 in naugatuck. I’ve tried other places with my son but nothing can compare to A1 pizza. Their pizza has flavor and the crust is super delicious. Totally recommend getting pizza here you won’t regret it.

My family used to order here every week.
I think the main issue is the pizza, personally it’s not a place I’d recommend to others. It tastes more salty and greasy and the pizza falls apart when you eat it.
The delivery people are pretty nice, never had any issues that I’m aware of as well as the other staff in the building.

Been in naugatuck since 2020 and had they pizza for the first time today. The best pizza I had. So fat. Only issues was I called back to tell them how I was happy with the food and got hung up on.

We (my roommates and I) have been ordering from A1 for 6 years… at least 3 times a week.
They have just gone from my favorite place although I wouldn’t order the burgers, they’re like hockey pucks.. well… they’ve gone from being my favorite to being the last place I would ever call.
Its one thing when you order a pizza and its soggy and they don’t offer to replace or credit it or shown anything close to customer appreciation but when all of a sudden, your going to tell me it costs a $1.00 to put the lettuce, tomatoes and onions on the side and not on the burger or that it costs a dollar for the lettuce, tomatoe and onion… I’m done.
I been a customer of A1for 6 years because most of the time the food really is decent, but when you start to charge customers extra for something that’s not extra and not willing to Accommodate someone who patronizes your restaurant for 6 year when they’ve received bad food…. it sort of puts a bad taste in the mouth.
I refuse to give my hard earned money to a family restaurant that doesn’t appreciate their customers family.
Besides… I checked out La Casa Pizzeria last week and they’ve got a much better menu and their food isn’t bad at all. It might even be better.
