I just ate at A Todo Madre Modern Mex Grill in Sanford and it was so good. The food came out fresh and everything had a lot of flavor. The tacos were honestly some of the best I’ve had around here. The place has a cool, modern vibe and it’s really clean inside. The workers were nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be coming back for sure.

I love Mexican food and have visited this restaurant over 5 times in the last 6 months; it’s usually my go-to stop whenever I’m in Sanford. However, my lunch today with my son was deeply disappointing.
I found a toothpick hidden inside my chile relleno. When I brought it to the owner’s attention, I was shocked by the response. Rather than a sincere acknowledgment, apology for the safety risk, the owner tried to convince me that this is a standard cooking practice and that customers are expected to be aware and remove the toothpicks.
I’ve eaten this dish all over the country and have never been told it’s the customer’s job to “dig out” hidden sharp objects. While the food is usually great, the dismissal of such a serious choking hazard was unacceptable. They should change their cooking techniques.
A hidden toothpick inside a stuffing layered with sauce is a severe choking hazard if unnoticed. I’m disappointed that a restaurant I previously loved would prioritize making excuses over customer safety. If you eat here, please be extremely careful.

Excellent! Top quality food right here. And rinks are great! They do serve alcohol as well, as they have some fancy ones. I highly recommend it. I had the mole enchiladas – everything was great. Rice, beans etc.

Being born and raised in Los Angeles, California. This is by far the closest Mexican food that I have found that reminds me of home. Its authenticity and flavor is delicious. They also have pupusas for those that enjoy Salvadoran food. I highly recommend this place! Shoutout to the owner Jahaira she is kind, friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you!

Food was amazing! You can tell that great attention is put into every dish they serve. The pineapple agua fresca’s were made fresh and they were delicious. Although service was a little slow, it was made up for by our extremely pleasant server, Nohemi. She was sweet, polite, and did not allow the fact that they were short staffed bother her one bit. My son just moved here and we will definitely be back when we return to visit.

I’ve been going to this place since shortly after they opened. I spend a lot of money here monthly because it was one of my favorite places. I take my children and have sent so many people to them. I’m always so pleased with the consistency of the food each time. This last time it was not good at all. I figured it must have been a new cook maybe. Regardless I wanted to give them another chance to redeem themselves. I called to let them know my concerns and that my order was not good at all and that I couldn’t even eat it. The only thing I was offered was a 10% discount from my next order and I had to use it within 3 to 4 days. I will never return to this restaurant again. After spending money here multiple days weekly since I started coming, I feel they could have offered to replace my meal. Really disappointed with them.

** Edit: They have alcohol now! Great little bar area and delicious drinks! ** Great addition to Sanford! We went in this evening for their soft opening and had a wonderful experience. We ordered and went to the cute little dinning area to wait for our food. The service was great and the food came out pretty quick. It was authentic Mexican food and so delicious! We will be returning for sure so we can try different menu items.

My husband had lunch here one day and raved about how amazing the tacos were. I drove an hour to try them out and they were worth the trip! I had the pineapple aguas Fresca, beef cheek tacos, rice and beans and they were fantastic! I’ll definitely be back!
