Amazing experience It’s a small and unassuming venue but oozes (French styled) class and professionalism! Loved the champagne wagon and the knowledgeable wine presentations as much as the great food experience. Will for sure return

Wonderful dining experience with top service. A menu we all ranked higher than several other 1* restaurants in town as it was well balanced, thought through with a point of view. As an extra plus a good wine list at very reasonable bottle prices allowing you more freedom to choose.

We had one regular menu and one vegetation menu. Everything was absolutely fabulous from the drinks and ambience to the staff and food. The thoughtfulness of the dishes, their presentation, and the explanation of them (and the drinks) was brilliant. We had a wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful dinner at à terre. As a solo diner with what can only be described as a “senior citizen early reservation time” (5pm!), I was the only guest for the first 90 minutes. The team were warm, welcoming and wonderfully balanced in their interactions: engaging me in lovely conversations about the menu, the wine, Copenhagen and where I was visiting from. The food was fantastic – smaller dishes, beautifully executed, and I still left completely full and satisfied. I especially loved that the chef personally introduced each course. And if cheese is the love of your life (as it is mine), the cheese trolley is a must! I appreciated not feeling rushed, and completely at ease enjoying a bottle of red and ended up staying for three hours. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Enjoyed a wonderful experience here during our stay in Copenhagen. Each dish of the tasting menu was well planned and beautifully executed. The seasonal dishes were top quality and fresh, highlighting the flavors of each ingredient. Service was friendly and excellent, with little amuse bouche bites between courses to keep the pace moving. One of the best, if not the best, tasting menus we’ve ever had. Highest compliments to the chef and staff!

What an experience. The setting, the location, the food, the service, the wine pairing. All was outstanding. I already want to come back. It’s a cosy little restaurant close to the buzzing downtown but far enough away for you to escape and indulge in a food adventure. The presentation of the dishes, the food plating was so beautiful. The ingredients were scrumptious and the whole menu was to my liking. Excellent food all the way through.

A friend recommended this restaurant, and I’m so glad she did!
Chef Yves has earned this his Michelin star and beyond. The restaurant is an intimate yet chic setting near Nyhavn. Chef greeted us as we entered and immediately made it feel as though we were being welcomed to his home. His staff are all lovely, incredibly knowledgeable, and polished, yet carried a personable and easy-going demeanor.
What a fantastic dinner we had last night!
The menu is an elegant journey through Chef’s cherished childhood memories with his father in France and Denmark. The flavors were delicious! And the wine pairing was incredible. My favorite was the white Burgundy.
What amazed me the most was that often, it was Chef himself bringing and explaining the courses to the table. And it wasn’t just our table; Chef did this throughout the evening for all the tables. Making guests feel at ease is a priority here. It’s a simple detail that left you feeling special.
I was told that the cheese trolley was wonderful here, but that compliment was understated. We all agreed we could have enjoyed a second round of cheeses, not because we were hungry, but because there were so many delicious options!
I can not recommend À Terre enough. Congratulations to Chef and his staff, and thank you for such a lovely evening! We will be back for another season.

I’m very thankful that this small, a terre, mischelin star restaurant, allows kids to dine in. Its like an educational program for nice manners. This was our 3 kids first time having a tasting menu which took about 3 hours. And everything went smooth thanks to restaurant manager Joachim. He’s doing a great job here. Our grandma was first time in mischelin restaurant too and she was amazed! As for me and my husband we have tried a lot of mischelin star restaurant all over the worl. Some of them were in the list of “top 50 mischelin restautantas in the world in 2023 “ And we realy think that you are getting in that top 50 list soon! Very soon. Best of luck! Eva.
