We recently hosted my dad’s 80th birthday celebration here, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the entire experience! From start to finish, the team was incredibly accommodating and full of creative ideas that made the event truly special. The food was exceptional — everyone raved about it — and the level of service was top-notch. (I live in CA and planning was a breeze with them even far away)
What really stood out was their personal touch and the way they handled everything with such grace, even when a few unexpected guests arrived without RSVPs. They took every challenge in stride and made the entire day feel seamless, stress-free and VERY special for my Dad.
Highly recommend this business for ANY occasion (big party, date night, girl’s out fun or just a place to relax and unwind yourself) — they go above and beyond to make every moment memorable!

10/10 experience! I rented this amazing space for a fundraiser, and it comfortably accommodated my 70 guests. The food was incredible, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The selection of wine, bourbon, and beer was top-notch, adding an elevated touch to the event. The team running the place is so kind and attentive, making everything run smoothly. This is a fantastic spot for events or just a great evening out!

A wonderful place to propose!!!! Recently, I got a wild hair to expedite my plans to propose(She said YES) boy was this the perfect spot. The owners were awesome and so helpful and happy for us. The bourbons were awesome and the wines were abundant. The seating was nice and it wasn’t too loud like a normal bar even with a band. Would recommend everyone to check it out. The metal gate was awesome!!!

The owner’s and staff are wonderful. The food is amazing. And the atmosphere is awesome. It’s so laid back and relaxing. We also like the self-serve idea. You don’t feel rushed to finish a drink because of someone always asking if your ready for another one. It’s always clean, especially the kitchen. I love the open concept and the fact that they didn’t take the nostalgia out of the old building.

A Taste of Ohio is more than dinner and drinks. It’s an experience! I like that I can sample a variety of wines (and other beverages) and not have to pay for an entire bottle (or even glass) in case I don’t like it. The staff are also part of what makes this place so great. I highly recommend A Taste of Ohio in Zanesville!
