Absolutely phenomenal! This Mexican food truck deserves every one of its five stars. The presentation of the dishes was vibrant and inviting — you can tell they put real care into how everything looks. And the taste? Simply incredible. Every bite was bursting with authentic flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. It’s rare to find food that looks this good and tastes even better, but they nailed it. Highly recommend stopping by if you want a memorable meal on wheels!

It’s food truck so regardless you will always stand around and wait to be called. Small kitchen can’t compete with a full service level. Not at all a reason to skip this authentic Mexican food. We visited during the 2024 NYE celebration at Cascades Park in Downtown Tallahassee. The corn is insanely good. Fresh tacos. Quick service considering the environment. Napkins and sauce in the bag, typically I wouldn’t mention this but seemingly all drive thru have forgotten this. These people know what’s up and you should give them your money if your hungry.

Incredible, juicy meat. Everything is extremely tender. The flavor is amazing! Not too salty, not too hot. The green salsa has the perfect amount of heat! Red salsa usually scares me but it has a bit of a creamy consistency. The food came out fast. The truck was busy with 5+ orders ahead of mine. The service was great. They have a shaded area for you to stand under when you order and a shaded spot to enjoy your amazing meal!

When I miss home (Michoacán, Mexico), A Taste of Mexico is always there to serve a delicious reminder. The staff is so friendly and sweet! (2) Burritos de Barbacoa, Elote, and (1) churro of chocolate and (1) of caramel!!! Yummm!!!

I have experienced this place of greatness twice and I cannot stay away!! A coworker invited me to the food truck day they have at DMS every month. I read the list of trucks and instantly decided this truck would be my choice. When we got there, the line was looonnngg and I can see why! I’ve had my share of Mexican food but this is by far one of the best I’ve had. The service is great, the food is greater. Everything is cooked to order and fresh. Both times, I ordered the same meal…the Quesabarilla and street corn cup. PLEASE make a bigger size of the street corn. I will order 2 cups if I have too. I will be back to the next food trick day to get the same meal. Keep doing what you’re doing!❤️

Burrito and birria tacos were tasty but the queso lacks quality. Seemed watery almost and definitely isn’t an authentic taste. Phone etiquette needs improvement. Businesses shouldn’t answer the phone with “hello” had me thinking I dialed my grandma or the wrong number.
