Went for their Taco Tuesday special yesterday which is a great deal! The regular full size tacos and options for a discounted price. Mike helped us out and was awesome! Great friendly service with outstanding food. I love going here with my Vegan friend because they have food he eats and that I also enjoys Got the churros for dessert with the homemade caramel dipping sauce Mike made and they’re out of this world! Great atmosphere & had a friendly talk with Mike who was working. Great overall experience would recommend to anyone and will be back! Hope you enjoyed the hot honey Mike!

This is probably our third time to a taco affair, and it has definitely gone downhill. While the combinations are still creative, they failed to execute, and werenot nearly as good as in the past.

The sesame tuna taco was relatively good, had a nice amount of tuna in it and was quite fresh. All of the other dishes we ordered were underwhelming. The barbecue brisket was extremely dry and salty, the crab fritter seemed like the crab balls were frozen and had been reheated in the fryer. Buttermilk fried chicken was tender, but lacked seasoning, as did the beans, which were improved by the hot sauce at the table. Street corn was fine.

Overall, I really wanted to enjoy this food, as I’ve loved it in the past. I don’t know if it is new management or cost savings, but it didn’t live up to our expectations this time. Hope it was just a bad day, because we really want to want to come here.

I had high expectations considering all the awards this restaurant is decorated with, unique flavor combinations on the menu, and praise on social media.

Unfortunately, I left very underwhelmed. I tried a few different tacos on the menu – the sesame tuna, crab fritter, and pork al pastor. The flavors were just not there. Dry pork, bland torillas, disproportionate ingredients…

I’m really curious about what the competition was for them to win the best seafood, vegetarian, and beef taco at the New Jersey Taco Festival.

Response to restaurant: I predicated my review with mention of your accomplishments because they are notable and also on display in your store.

The focus, however, is centered around my experience with the food, for the reasons that I mentioned. Maybe y’all had a bad day, it happens, but my experience would still be the same. As a home cook and foodie, I’m always happy to be proven wrong.

FYI Google reviews are based on 3 categories: food, service, and atmosphere. I added my “2 cents” because my experience didn’t match my expectations.

I understand the hard work that goes into running a restaurant, and I’m happy for those people who do enjoy your food. Hope you have a nice day.

All around great spot. Well lit modern interior with big picnic style tables adds a welcoming vibe as soon as you enter. Service was friendly and quick, with the food coming out in a very reasonable amount of time. The tacos were delicious and had a healthy and proportional amount of ingredients in each taco. If any of your friends are vegan however they only have like two options. Seemed to hit the spot with my friend though who is vegan and gave them two thumbs up. Would definitely recommend!

By far the best tacos in NJ! The churros for dessert are also amazing. This is a must for Taco connoisseurs! Ample communal seating makes it for an experience though, yes, there are tables. Highly recommend.

Update: We visited a few days later and the food was still good but not amazing like before. There is a bit of inconsistency between visits. However the service is still excellent and the staff is extremely attentive, they make sure we don’t run out of napkins and bring our food outside for us. Everyone is kind, they are very accommodating to dietary restrictions as well.

This place is awesome! We were crazing some amazing tacos we are down south in north Carolina and this place is just as amazing! We had the corn, tacos el pastor, began tacos, smoked brisket, and the fried avocado. We sat outside in the nice weather and brought our own wine and beer. Yum! Check this place out.

Been here a few times before. Got a sesame ahi taco and truffle yucca fries today. A lot of flavor packed into that taco and the fries were salty and savory with a little crunch. A smidge on the expensive side. This and a drink was over $15.

I was pleasantly surprised with all the flavors and how well it was paired with each bite! Certainly a unique gourmet taco experience with quality ingredients! My coworker told me about the their homemade sauces and I’m so glad she did as they were delicious – be sure to ask for the flavor of the day! I’ll definitely be returning!

Pretty solid tacos… I did wish that the tortillas were doubled up, as they do give a hefty amount of filling so I broke through the tortilla.

I really enjoyed the Korean BBQ taco but may get it on lettuce next time. Also had the ahi tuna but on lettuce and that was great..

My husband had the special, tiki masala chicken and also.had the jerk chicken. I don’t even think he said a word as he scoffed both down, without even sharing a bite.

My brother had the crab fritters and also had the Korean BBQ but on lettuce. He said that the Korean BBQ one was his favorite.

The sides we’re great but I think the fried avocados should have been topped with the same as the corn, instead of a dip.

Last but not least, the churros and ice cream.were worth indulging in! Yum yum yum!

Definitely will be returning!
