We tried this place out while on vacation, and have to say this is definitely a must check out spot. Everyone was friendly, the kids loved the basketball, bike, and play set. The live DJ did an amazing job with music selection and great vibes. The fried catfish was very delicious. Some of the best catfish we’ve had in forever.

I tried the Oxtails plate and I never ate Oxtails. They are the BEST FOOD I have Ever had. Also the best owners in the World. I had a great time and the DJ playing great music. I will bring all my friends from work. We went to Sign Bar down the street but I prefer this place much better. I will recommend to all my friends and family. I forgot about the kids area and jump house, brought my kids last week they had a blast on jump house and play area

The vibes at this spot is overall chill, patio vibes with a dance floor, positive atmosphere, they have karaoke nights, a moonwalk & little play scape for the kiddos, we tried their 6 piece Bone in Wings which was fresh and delicious and can’t forget the affordable drinks ! The worst experience just from parking alone. They had zero patrons already and we were down to give it a try but the lady approached us asking us to park our cars “better” when I had parked perfectly fine … we asked why and she immediately had an attitude with my friend and when I politely said “ok thank you” she kept going on and on so we just left. 0/10 do not recommend …

Hyder is a hidden gem in East Austin. The owners are some of the nicest people that you’ll ever meet in. The service in food is always on point. They always have a great vibe with music, and there is a play area for your little ones to enjoy. They have a variety of food, including a Birria truck and a American/soul food truck. Admittedly, i’ve gone to the American truck and when I tell you that this food is bomb, it’s bomb. Come support a small business!
