Absolutely delicious pizza! We had every friday the Bacon Chezburger and Where-the-beef pizza and you must try the new Nashville hot chicken pizza, that’s delicious too. They were full of flavor and the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. Finally, an awesome pizza place that is not a chain. Top notch owner too!

So I’ve been coming here for years, ordering a small pizza – individual size. I live basically down the street from this place and have met the owner Don several times. I usually ordered the personal or individual size but today I decide to upgrade to a medium and use their new app. I was so disappointed with my pizza which was terrible that I decided to call to see if maybe the place was under new management as I said I never had a bad pizza prior. The pizza I had was so bad I had to throw it out! The outer third of the pizza edges of it were burnt and the pepperoni was dry and crispy and it was very very thin. The toppings were also very poor on it. I spoke to somebody who identified himself as a manager, and when I started complaining about the pizza he Became very defensive – saying he made the pizza himself and that the way he made it is perfect and that other customers who ordered the exact same pizza as mine that moment (had to believe there would be : other customers who ordered the exact same pizza at the same time) had no complaints and then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. What a poor business model to have this manager in place dealing with customers, he needs definite training on how to handle the public. I will not be back! In addition just know that if you order a pizza from here you may have him making it.

We had the Lone Star pizza Chicago style. Awesome. We all loved it. Go to the bar (The Office-Lounge) next door and order and eat at the tables. Great staff. Great people.

We went here to celebrate my brother’s birthday as he really wanted pizza. He has autism and I was a little nervous to take him out alone but wanted him to have a great birthday experience. The waitress went above and beyond to accommodate for him and she was so kind. She even got him a slice of cake for his birthday. I will definitely be bringing him back in the future. It’s really a blessing to have a safe and welcoming environment where I can spend family time with him! Thank you so much!

Son and I were in town for a sports function and decided to give ‘A Slice Above’ a try. For starters, the man who answered the phone was very nice. I ordered a large plain cheese and fries. Food was ready for pickup when he told us and I also grabbed some soft drinks from their cooler. Everyone inside was fantastic. Very friendly staff.
Brought the food back to the hotel and my son and I absolutely demolished the pizza and fries. Pizza was delicious! Had a wonderful flavor and the crust was perfect. Fries were very good as well, above standard pizza shop fries.
I highly recommend ‘A Slice Above’ as we will certainly order again when in the area!

Stopped there on 7/25/25 and ordered a large two topping pizza; half with pepperoni and sausage, the other half had pepperoni and green peppers.
This was our first time here. The order was made quickly, and let me tell you how goooood their pizza is!!!! Reminds me of Lu’s in Grafton, just with a thicker crust (that I prefer). I would most definitely order from there again, and plan to do so.
