A friend told us about this place when we first moved here but this is the first real chance we had to go. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to be seated at a high top table near the bar. It’s now in my top five places to go. The food was amazing from the first bite to the last. The cocktails were also very delicious. This is another one of those hidden Vermont gems that locals want to keep a secret from tourists. I’m not mad at that! Thank you to everyone there and our server, Alexa, for a wonderful evening

We took our daughter there to celebrate her graduation dinner. This was one of our favorite restaurants but two things have changed. The quality of the food has diminished to that of your average Asian restaurant and their prices have increased to what I would expect at a much more upscale restaurant in NY. We typically order the chefs sampler which in the past was a bit expensive but we were not expecting $70 per person plus another $40 for two beers and two lemonades. A year or two ago we would have paid about $200 for the 4 of us. Our bill this time, $400. Shame on us for not asking the price, which is not posted on their menu. We just didn’t expect it to double in a little over a year.

We love to go to Single Pebble when we’re in Burlington. The food is exquisite and the service is outstanding. We appreciate that we’ve always been able to get an intimate table for two without reservations. Recommend highly, especially the chef’s specials.

Oh man this place. We’d skipped a single pebble earlier as we’d heard they’re only for large groups then my husband made secret plans for outside date night eating, so glad he did. The food was some of the BEST vegetarian Chinese dishes we’ve ever had. The Buddha’s sesame beef (seitan) and dry fried green beans were amazing. But the scallion bread, WOW. Basically a big, fluffy, steamed bun with dipping sauces. Really can’t recommend enough especially if you’re looking for plant based options. Everybody was safe and friendly. The portions are very large though and they come out as they’re cooked so in no particular order. Very happy. Coming back again and going to try the chef tasting menu.

CJ, our waiter was 10/10. He could not have been more personable, friendly and informative. The food was perfection – the best spring rolls and pork dish I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back!

The food and the service here are great. The drinks are terrible, though. Our main complaint is that they allow you to make a reservation close to their closing time (30 minutes prior) and in turn, rush the food out so that the servers can leave. I am all about the servers being able to leave, but they should not allow reservations so close to their kitchen closing, if they were rushing the food out. I just wish there was a warning at the time of booking, that warned us that closing time (kitchen was about closed by the time we arrived, but our kind server put our orders in) and we maybe would not have booked a reservation here.

We had the beef and asparagus and the beef was like butter, so tender. The pork buns were great. Dumplings very good and fried rice. The cheesecake was fantastic. The quality and freshness of the food was evident!

I brought my husband here for his first time. We both are gluten free (not just with an intolerance) and were thrilled they offer great gluten free options!

We ordered the Buddha’s Sesame Beef and it was delicious. Prices were pretty high ($30) so we shared the single order. Their website states that all orders come with a quart of white rice, however when we received our order it was only a pint of white rice and it was barely topped off.

Amazing dinner! I would definitely recommend making a reservation, we did but we saw ppl walk in at the same time of us and were told a wait. Some of the best dumplings I’ve had and my dad loved the Buddha beef. Overall great and will definitely be coming back
