Pizza Mart in the U District is hands down one of my favorite spots — and not just for the pizza. Their Moscow Mules are incredible, perfectly balanced and refreshing every time.
What really makes the place special, though, is the vibe. Colby, the bartender, is a blast!
Super fun, welcoming, and makes everyone feel right at home. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or hanging out with friends, Colby sets the tone for a great night.
If you’re in the area, definitely swing by for a Mule and some good company.

* : 8/10. Me and my friend ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage and onion! It was perfect for a late night dinner, and together with the drinks just make it so good! For the drinks I ordered “Hoes in Trader Joe’s”. It was a perfect amount of alcohol and sweet, I prefer a sweeter drink and this is it!
* : 7/10. The bar tender is friendly, easy to talk to and very nice!
* 8/10: Very close to where I live and it is just right on the end of the Ave! Which makes it a very convenient location, and there are plenty of parking outside the bar, but this may not be the case if the neighborhood is busy on a Friday or weekend evening! I also enjoyed the very local-bar like decor in the bar! It was a ice highlight!

Good spot, the fried ravioli was a little cold but still very tasty, the calzone was filling and super good. All around good food, average service nice sports bar level atmosphere. Could see myself watching a game here in the future.

I got a family meal delivered late night/early morning (4/10). Found a clear foreign object in my pizza. But I was so I didn’t think much of it. Threw the particle away. Went to bed and just grabbed another piece of pizza. Found THREE more (bristles?) in my crust. They’re strong, thick and pokey. I didn’t get an apology and I only got a partial refund (fees, taxes and such excluded). As you can see the dough is undercooked too.
When I asked door dash to forward this to quality control they said they’d pass it along for review. Yet, they didn’t show any remorse or emotion to the incident. Just “what’s the issue?”

The bartender was big mad that I tried to use Apple Pay on my watch. She looked flustered as hell when I dug out my card instead. Made me feel as if they didn’t want or need my business. The second star is for the “delicious when you’re stoned” chicken parm sandwich made with chicken from a can.
