We made reservations to celebrate our babymoon and let me tell you it exceeded our expectations. Y husband has a severe gluten allergy and they were so careful with the dishes, even offering to give him gluten free bread along with my regular bread (obviously separated) when we shared the burrata as our appetizer. My husband also ordered the gluten free carbonara and we shared a chocolate torte. He has had no reactions (it usually happens an hour after he eats but it’s been almost 8 hours and he’s as happy as can be).
As for me I had the chicken Parmesan with a side of fusilli. Was it expensive? Yes but for the quality of the food, and service (shout out to Isaac) – it was well worth it. They even brought out non alcoholic champagne for me to celebrate our first baby! The attention to detail and care definitely made our experience at a mano so special.
Still 5 stars, but I don’t realize how sugary and sweet the espresso martini was. I’m pretty sure there was coffee ice cream in it. Would 100% avoid- far too sweet
The focaccia is freshly baked every morning (according to our waitress) and it definitely tastes that way. Loved it alongside the tomato soup.
The cacio e pepe felt a little heavy on the pepper for me but that my personal taste. I admittedly also don’t eat Italian food often so I wouldn’t know an authentic pasta but this is definitely a good pasta.
The fig salad is maybe my favorite dish. It’s a little sweet in the best way, making a salad a pleasure to eat. Some nuts and dried figs and small cubes of cheese, rounded off with the light dressing. Perfect.
From the gentleman who sat me and took my food and drink order. The other person who brought my drink. One of the ladies working checked in on me and put in my dessert order for me. The guy with the glasses who brought my to-go dessert had such a kind face. Even one of the cooks who was standing in the back for a quick minute was really helpful and friendly when I asked about parking.
All these interactions were very short. And I was in a frail mindset at the time, so I can say yes the food was delicious and my old fashioned was nice to sip on throughout the night. If I had a slightly above average experience, I may not have reviewed. But I’ll be back because of how they made me feel. Thank you (:
