What in the name of the TORTILLA!!!!?? This place is amazing. Hidden gem and highly rec.

We ordered:
Chips and salsa
Kids carne asada tacos
Carne asada burrito
Fish burrito

Everything was delicious and fresh! My favorite was the kids carne asada taco – they literally melted in my mouth. The carne asada burrito and fish burrito also delicious.

The restaurant staff was very nice and attentive. The place itself – very clean. And I have to give a shoutout the greatest photo of all time in the girls bathroom from White Chicks!

10/10!

The chef here is great, he is from Mexico City and there is a wide variety of region specific items, like cochinita pibil. This place is definitely a hidden gem in a quiet area. We tried the street tacos and all of the à la carte tacos, they were so delicious… especially the condesa taco and the del huerto taco. The atmosphere is chill and service is great. Would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone in the area.

This place is OPEN! I was so sad to see Capriotti’s sandwhich shop go. However, when I saw there would be a new Mexican restraunt in the area to try out I was very excited!
My coworker and I tried the breakfast burrito and the carnitas street tacos beans and rice. Everything is made to order. The flavors are amazing, the quality is beyond delicious. The flavors of the salsa are so mouth watering. They make the salsas with all fresh ingredients. While talking to the very sweet man at the front desk about the different sauces they make/use he would bring me a sample just so I could taste the flavors. Also, found out they have Taco Tuesdays starting at 4p.m. We will be going back and trying everything on the menu one day at a time!!!

Just ate at A La Brava and everything was absolutely remarkable. I had the Tres Leches French toast and the divorced eggs, which were layered with two different sauces and triple-layered tortillas—I loved that detail. We also tried the individual tacos, which were so unique, filled with a mix of shrimp, garlic, meat, and crispy fried cheese—so, so good. Every dish hit the mark. I honestly can’t believe this place is so underrated in Aliso Viejo. Definitely coming back soon!

A La Brava is the latest Mexican gem tucked inside a shopping center. We went there for breakfast but couldn’t decide whether we wanted a savory or sweet meal. So, we did both! We had the chilaquiles rojos and the banana/berry crepe. The chilaquiles were crispy and addictive, and the crepe had just the right amount of sweetness with fresh berries. We will definitely return to try the other items on the menu.
Ps. I tried the chilaquiles before taking the pic

Saw the ratings and figured I had to try it out. A La Brava did not disappoint! We ordered 5 street tacos (one of each meat except the pork), the Mahi plate, the Condensa taco, and guac. Everything was good, but the tenderness of the meat really stood out. The Condensa taco was AMAZING, definitely one of the best shrimp tacos we’ve ever had. We’ll be back to try more of the menu!

I never write reviews… but wow! I found this place by accident and I literally went back for more the next day. I’ve tasted chicken enchiladas, the tres leches French toast, breakfast torta, and street tacos. All aces. Great food and great service. I know they just opened recently, but I see great things in their future if they keep up with the food quality. I can’t wait to try everything else on their menu. Feels like they need to be bigger than a hole in the wall strip mall joint. Truly authentic with a modern touch. Brilliant!

Finally got a chance to come by to try this place. So glad we did! Some of the absolute best street tacos I’ve ever had. We ordered the 7 taco special and got one of each. Every one was great. Carnitas, cochinita, and suadero were my faves. Super fresh. Super quick service and every was lovely. This will for sure be in the weekly rotation!
Trying the tres leches cake next! Thanks Miguel!
