I ordered a black and tan and snake Bite however I received only black and tans. The beers were poorly poured, roughly an inch of Guinness and the rest of the glass was harp or something similar.
The first bartender was soon replaced by this lady with reddish hair, pony tail. This person changed the vibe and whole first time experience. Poor attitude and not friendly at all.
When I payed and put my more than generous cash tip out for the bartenders she didn’t even say thank you or thank you for coming in. I almost asked for my tip back because of her unfavorable behavior. She did not deserve a single cent of that money.
Better options and friendlier places to go and spend your hard earned money. Don’t spend it on unappreciative people like her or patronage a place that allows employees to act like this.
I definitely do not recommend this establishment.
The bar itself felt alive in the best way. There was a great buzz in the room lively without being overwhelming where you could feel the energy of people enjoying themselves, laughing, and settling in for a good day. It struck that perfect balance of being fun and welcoming without feeling chaotic.
What really tied the whole experience together was our waitress, Paige. She took incredible care of my sister and me from start to finish friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel comfortable and welcome, and her service turned a great meal into a truly memorable experience.
Between the amazing food, the vibrant atmosphere, and Paige’s outstanding service, AJ’s Public House is a place I’d happily return to and recommend without hesitation.
We tried the fish & chips, Shepard’s pie and firecracker fries. The food was really good and the serving portion was also good. Overall had a great experience and will be back again. If you are fan of soccer, this is the place to be.
