The only good thing about this place was the person bringing drinks, salad, and soup out to us. We had Kane and they did an amazing job but other than that the food was very small portions that was small. The only thing we had big portion of was rice and that’s because we asked for double rice. The other family that was seated with us got way more than we got all because they knew everyone working there. We will not go back here because it was so bad.

The food was good. I’m guessing things have changed from when they used to do shows. We had a party of 17 for a birthday which I know is a lot so we weren’t expecting fast service and the lady sat as pretty fast for the size. The waiter was young and turned the air on before the chef came in. We complained because it was freezing back here already and all of us had kept our coats on. We were in the last room in the back. He reached his hand over the grill and said” really It’s not cold in here. “ We said everyone back here was freezing and his response was “the owner wouldn’t be happy” and didn’t at least turn the air off. Even if they didn’t out the heat on he could’ve turned the cold air off coming out of the vents. I never generally leave bad reviews but overall the service after we sat was bad. Some of the orders were messed up. The chef couldn’t read what the server wrote. They had to go in the kitchen and make two that they had forgot and one came out when they were giving us boxes for our food. One of the people with us ordered a shot that never came. We asked the server to check on it. He came back without it and when we asked again his response was all I could do was ask. (Meaning he asked the bar) Needless to say it never showed and we had to ask him to make sure he didn’t charge us for it. No apology just responded with “oh I won’t” The tip is automatic in a party that size which I understand. However the service was horrible. I hate to leave a review like this as the host seated us fast etc. The service unfortunately was horrible and non apologetic.

We had the best time there. The staff were great. Our chief was so funny. He was like a comedian. He tossed food in our mouths. It was like having a show with our meal. Everyone had a fun.

I was in Greenwood today because I had to pick up something for my wood stove from a nearby store. I decided to stop by and get some Sashimi from Nagoya because I am quite the sashimi/ sushi aficiano. I just love it. I got a 15-piece to go sashimi plate and I also bought a five-piece salmon appetizer for my wife. When I got home we had a few pieces and about fell on the floor because it was so delicious.nI know good sashimi and fresh fish and this is both. My wife was absolutely raving about the quality of the salmon and I was impressed as well, the hamachi was spectacular. We will be going back as soon as we can possibly get up there because it’s about an hour drive away. I highly recommend this place with no qualms whatsoever. The waitresses and staff were super accommodating and the guy who obviously owns or runs the place is the head sushi chef and it’s obvious that he knows exactly what he’s doing and takes pride in his work.

The service was excellent! We got seated immediately after we walked in the restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly and he took very good care of us. The soup they gave us as the appetizer was delicious! I almost would’ve been fine with just that. But the hibachi was amazing! I got the chicken and shrimp and I believe that was around $23. The food here can be a bu pricey if you’re ordering for two or more but with their generous portions you definitely get your moneys worth. Our total for the night was $70

Food was terrible. Over seasoned with ginger I couldn’t even eat my stake it tasted so bad. It was $26 for a chicken and stake hibachi plate and it wasn’t worth $5 I wouldn’t even give this stuff to a homeless person. The salad was turning brown also. An all around terrible experience. Chicken was ok but barely

Ate dinner tonight at Nagoya. Do NOT normally leave reviews but felt like I needed to share. Sat in first table on left about 630pm 12/26. Staff and waitress nice and friendly. Cook had three regular customers come in which he wanted to cook for, had to wait at the table a solid 40 mins for him to get to us. Then he cooked all of there meats before cooking any of my families. We order (3) hibachi steaks meals, (1) hibachi chicken. Also, drinks and (2) spicy tuna rolls. By the time any of us got meat our rice was basically cold. I was honestly embarrassed the way we treated by the cook, felt like second class customers. We visit this restaurant at least once a month and spend 200-250 dollars. Ashamed and will not return. Do yourself a favor and go to one where you feel like they care about ALL there customers.

This restaurant did not disappoint! Our service was Awesome, we sat in front of the Sushi chef and it was cool to see him making masterpieces. He was so precise when plating the food and you could tell he realky cared about what he was sending out. My hubby ordered the volcano bowl. It was cool, they lit the everclear on fire. It could have been a little stronger. For an appetizers I had the Sushi poppers !! OMG they were so Delicious! We had substituted the salmon for crab meat and requested no jalapeños and it was so good. I’d try as is next time. The ranch for the salad is so good! The chicken soup was so tasty!! The steak and chicken Hibachi was the bomb! Fried rice was good as well. We enjoyed everything!
We sat at a regular table but this is a cool spot if you are celebrating an occasion to see the hibachi tables.
I will definitely go back when in the area.

This was sad on New Years Eve 2025 for my son’s birthday. We were at Nagoya for hibachi 1 month and it was tasteless, and chef was boring. The only good chef was at a table celebrating someone’s birthday, the rest were duds. Tonight we ordered salmon sashimi, a dynamite crunchy roll and a California roll, all things we had eaten there a year ago. The fish was not quality, the rice stale, and the sashimi bland. Atmosphere has disintegrated, and shabby. What has happened?? The prices have gone up, but the quality has gone down. For these prices there are better options! Sorry!!!

I just want to say the sushi chef has made perfect roll every single time I’ve visited. He remembers lots of peoples orders to include knowing me by my specific order of salmon roe without rice. I believe his name is Tommie/Tommy? Absolutely amazing and he is cherished 10/10
