I needed a bakery to make an authentic Puerto Rican cake and this bakery did not disappoint. It was a last minute order and I wanted a simple but elegant cake. It was absolutely perfect and just what the birthday girl wanted. I also bought Puerto Rican treats that were equally as good. Wonderful staff and took me back to the island with all the yummy flavors.

I came for the Puerto Rican bread and ended up getting a BLT it was the size of the bread ($9.25) im thinking I’m not gonna finish this but that’s why you only see one half of the sandwich. Lol it was absolutely delicious, fresh and made quickly. I also bought a desert tembleque (small) $2.75 very creamy and made perfectly. If you know how it’s supposed to taste you know this one was perfect. The bathroom was cleaned and had a lock so ask for the key. Can’t wait to come back over here!

This bakery is amazing- a little reminder of back home. The turkey sandwich I had was life changing, and I also got the pastelillos de guayaba y queso and one with Nutella… SO good. The servings are HUGE and the service is equally as impressive. The woman behind the counter was so nice and very helpful. The bakery has a nice sized seating area and is adorably decorated with lots of cute Puerto Rican trinkets and flags. And of course salsa was playing…just such a cute spot. Definitely planning my next trip back.

Super little Puerto Rican Bakery in Newark. The most delicious coffee, bread, and typical Puerto Rican pastries at this spot. Do yourself a favor and get there quick. Very friendly service, clean bathrooms, and a very steady business there so you know it’s the spot to be.

Unprofessional to claim my mother to be a liar. they “properly packed this”. Only put it in one tin and a plastic bag like scorching hot oil wouldn’t melt through it easily. Not even 10 mins i make it back and my bags already leaking all over my car seats. Not even a box to accommodate anything. Terrible service.
