Dropped in for lunch and had an amazing lunch. We searched for restaurants with plant based options and found this spot and they totally lived up to the description.
I ordered the Veggie Wrap and my wife had then Asparagus Quesadilla. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded and the food showed up pretty quickly.
Mu Veggie Wrap came wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla and was full of fresh veggies mixed greens, artichokes, red onion, tomato, shiitake, crimini, & oyster, red bell peppers, broccoli with fresh guacamole &
creamy dill dressing. The guacamole and dill dressing gave it a really nice flavor.
My wife was happy with her Asparagus Quesadilla, it was full of flame roasted peppers, onions, tomatoes, asparagus, corn, black beans,
wild rice, farmers cheese & spinach. It came with salsa & sour cream and she add guacamole.
The server was very polite and service was quick. The restaurant sits on the shores of Ephraim harbor, perfect location for a meal or drinks.

All staff and service members were welcoming, kind, and accommodating. We relaxed on their patio with a wonderful meal… the door county way!

Nice alfredo dish with added chicken. The rosemary bread is out of this world. Presentation is immaculate. Its an art piece. Tomato basil soup among the best we’ve had. A bit overpriced but worth it. And there’s pie! Great view and friendly staff.

Great lunch stop, excellent food. Potato salad was well seasoned and tasty with egg, celery, etc. Turkey BLT was perfect, moist and well balanced between meat and toppings.

Fantastic breakfast and dinner at the Chefs Hat. Brekkie stunned us with decent coffee and great choices so we returned for dinner. We chose the prawn filled with crab, the ahi tuna salad and the roast beef and mushrooms. Even made it to desert – a Good Life cake. Highly recommend.

This place is so cute!! My husband and I first came here 12 years ago on our honeymoon, and loved it, and we have made a point to go back every time we go up to The Door. We were a little disappointed to find out they no longer serve breakfast other than Saturday and Sunday and that’s if you get there before 11AM. So when we got there close to noon and were told they weren’t serving breakfast I was disappointed, mainly because I love their scones, specifically their raspberry white chocolate scone, but after telling my server how much I loved their scones she went back and found one for me. That alone tells you about the service of this place, they go above and beyond for their guests. I ended up getting their Turkey BLT sandwich which was sooo good! Loved the honey mustard it was paired with, made every bite an enjoyment. My husband got a burger that he thought was just “okay”. The soup was also just okay, but that was a personal preference. The service alone makes up for any of the food and the cherry pie was really good! Check out the Chefs Hat!! Great views of the bay, warm cozy atmosphere, top notch service! You won’t be disappointed!

This place is the best. The quality of food, service, and atmosphere are exactly what we needed for an extended weekend vacation. We ate here for dinner and then breakfast the next day and both times were delicious. Try the pumpkin pear soup, any breakfast, the house margarita, and the New Orleans pasta. Oh, it’s also right on the water, perfect for a gorgeous sunset.

Delicious food and the setting is so cute! Our server was hilarious and was very helpful with recommending items from the menu. When you visit you have to try one of the Naniamo bars off of the dessert menu, they’re amazing!
