After a friend recommended us to try, my wife and I needed to finally stop in. It was really nice to be greeted as we walked in. We got seated quickly even during lunch time. We resorted to the lunch special that day which was Enchiladas with a side of Fajita, and also the Guisado de Puerco which both included a tea. Very nice young lady that was our waitress. Very prkind, professional and checked on us multiple times. The food came out only a few minutes later and was really good. Guisado like many other cuts are always a hit and miss. Next time I need to specify that I like it spicy. Other than that we enjoyed our experience and lunch here. We’ll be back to try more menu options soon. Thanks again!

My wife and I had always passed by this place while running errands and finally decided to stop in. It was definitely the right choice because the food was hot and delicious! The service was friendly and quick. And I am a huge breakfast person so I was very glad to find out they serve breakfast all day
It was ~30 bucks for both our plates (pictured) 2 sodas, an agua fresca (which was huge!!) and some meal add-ons/changes.
We will definitely be coming back!

I decided to try Amiga Cafe and went for lunch. I had the tostada de nopales. It was loaded and delicious. The waitress was very attentive. I liked it so much I took my friend for dinner 5 days later. We had the crispy tacos plate. Again the food was delicious but our food was served cold. Also the waitress never returned to check if we needed anything. By the way, there were only 2 other people there so not busy.

Ordered: Ranchero Plate with side of barbacoa, Plate of migas, 3 bean cheese for our kiddos, and all sweet tea drinks. Price was super affordable. Paid roughly $35. Food was great, however my only complaint is their potatoes were a bit hard and undercooked, so I didn’t eat them. My children raved about how generously stuffed their tacos were with cheese. Their freshly homemade tortillas were so good, we ordered more to eat with butter there. We will definitely be venturing back around to try out their lunch menu soon.

Friendly staff and my waiter Luis was great, full bar, country music playing lightly in the background, and decent pricing and portions. I came around 11 and it wasn’t too busy. As someone from West Texas this food really reminded me of the restaurants back home and I can’t wait to come and try more of the menu. Complimentary salsa and warm chips brought to the table, the salsa isn’t overly spicy and has good flavor. The lemonade is very refreshing. Daily specials are available, I came on a Thursday and it was the fideo loco. I ordered the huevos rancheros plate and the fideo loco.
Everything came out fresh, quickly, hot, and the bacon crispy. Finally quality corn and flour tortillas! Ranchero sauce was light on flavor but my over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. The refried beans were a nice consistency and a little sprinkle of added salt really helped the flavor. The potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The fideo loco comes in a large bowl and they give you quite a bit of meat and beans, also enjoyed the overall flavor of the soup.

1st time here since I’m visiting from Dallas. Nice little spot, which also had karaoke night this day we went on a Thursday. I was hungry so didn’t take picture of my enchilada plate. Size was smaller compared to Dallas locations, but definitely had flavor and tasted good. I got a side taco thinking it would be small and it was huge. My girl got the street pastor tacos which are half this size but loaded with meat and well served. Mother in law got caldo de res and wow i was suprised by the size. Overall a good spot and would definitely come again.

Holy moly! Well, MOLE, chicken mole, that is, today’s special. I ordered it, and I was not disappointed. The whole plate, beans, rice, the tea, everything was so good. I was especially impressed with the welcoming family friendliness of the staff. Looking at the tables around me, I’m surely coming back to try other menu items.
UPDATE: I ordered the mole enchiladas and did not like it. It had a too sweet cinnamon taste. Not. Good.
