We went to celebrate my dad’s birthday and anniversary. Sometimes I felt like the staff were ignoring us. The pasta was good but my husband didn’t like his steak. I did enjoy the classic decorations.

The food is pretty good, but I had a horrible experience here last night. I asked the waiter what was in the stuffed peppers because it sounded good but I wanted to make sure it did not have pork in it because I do not eat pork. He told me it’s only cheese and breadcrumbs. I said great, I’ll have that. When it came, I took a bite and immediately spit it out because something wasn’t right. I told the waiter that there was some type of meat in it. He reassured me there wasn’t, even though it was very clear there was. Then he slipped up and said there was beef in it, and I told him whether it was beef or pork, it’s still not okay because he told me it was just cheese and breadcrumbs. He panicked and said he would ask the kitchen if there was meat in it. I asked my friends at the table what they believed it to be and they confirmed it was pork sausage. This was the worse outcome for me. The waiter had the audacity to come back and tell me it was okay because it was just beef. Once again, lying to me about what he served me. I was furious but I did not want to ruin my night out with my friends. I tried my hardest to play it cool and order something else on the menu. I opted for the antipasto Tuscano (grilled veggies and mozzarella). After my friends finished their food, the busboy took the plates. About another 20 mins after that, the waiter came by and asked if everything was okay. At this point I was in disbelief and responded “do you remember that I ordered the antipasto?” To which he responded “uhhh, ooohh, they didn’t bring it?” I said “no, in fact, I don’t even want it.” I left hungry, upset, and ashamed of my first bite of pork in many many years.

It really doesn’t get any better than this! The warm hospitality, cozy atmosphere and absolutely delicious pizza are unmatched. Not to mention they literally have the coldest and best beer on draft that I’ve ever had! It’s our local go to spot and they are so fantastic and also reasonably priced!

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. All these years later, I’m still going as much as I can. Now I’m taking my own kids! This is one of the most underrated restaurants in Yonkers. The food here is excellent! The service is top notch! You can pick anything from the menu and you are guaranteed a delicious, traditional Italian dish that tastes homemade.

The owners of this restaurant did sell their business but it was purchased by the head chef who had been working there all these years so all of their plates are not only mouth-wateringly great but always consistent!

I’ve been here on multiple occasions, typically for parties, and we’ve always had an amazing experience!! Although it does get very loud, the food and service are outstanding. I’ve had a variety of dishes and I’ve never been disappointed. It was one of my relatives’ absolute favorite restaurants 🙂

Misto di Campo Salad was fantastic and good value. Warmed bread was good. Sorbet too frozen and pricey. Water wasn’t refilled often(I drink a lot though). Check was presented before asked. Restaurant ambience is pleasant. An okay experience overall.

Great Food – Service – Quality of Food. I’m their newest bartender and so happy to see community faces and people who love pizza beat for a long time. The owner and team is fully dedicated and in love with what they do & their consistency in food since I’m a child here is excellent. The new owner since 2018/2019 is the chef and this family business is still as good as it ever was. Love the holiday decor and advancement and the rustic Italian vibe it’s maintained for so long ! Thank you for having me on your team Pizza Beat Yonkers

While the place looks inviting on the outside and inside, the quality of their food is kinda like a SYSCO or even worse Restaurant Depot, frozen items, then reheated. I hate bashing restaurants, but why would you go here when Pizza & Brew is right up the street, and they are the original concept. They even MAKE their own mozzarella sticks. No frozen stuff. On the positive, our server was fantastic. I hope this location starts to focus on fresh food. This area needs more options that aren’t “chain” restaurants. I hope they pay attention to homemade stocks, sauces, and products.
