I highly recommend them. I went there earlier for the first time and grabbed dinner for my parents and I. I got the fajita burrito which I’m about to go into a food coma from, and my parents got the birria pizza. They were excellent, but I always judge Mexican food off of how well they’re salsa, and they did not disappoint excellent flavor , not watered down and he did not skimp me like most places.

The food is always delicious; it’s my favorite taco truck spot to eat.

It’s a food truck. I save 5’s for a different kind of food but this gets a 4.6 for sure.
Asada fries is tender small cut steak. It’s great with verde sauce. A salt packet. Awesome.
Next trip was beef enchiladas. They aren’t bland. Spicy meat! I like them. May be too spicy for some people.
Guacamole has a lot more lime in it than I like .
I haven’t tried the tacos yet but my husband has . He’s extra picky about tacos. Said they are ok, I’ll try next time.

During my visit it was closing time (around 8pm) with some friends and I had no idea of their hours, we apologized and we were about to leave but they stopped us and said they would still cook for us. We were very grateful and their food was beyond amazing! I ordered the case of Brea tacos and it’s definitely a must order item when you visit them! Good honest people with the food to deliver an amazing experience every time you go!

Pretty good food and the prices were good. I had the chicken burrito, cheese dip and chips. I wish the flour tortilla was just a bit more flavorful and I would have given this place a 5 star.

We had dinner once before, and food was cooked and made to perfection. This time around, we stopped by to have dinner once again. Our food was not fresh. My chimichanga was soggy, and my wife’s enchiladas were made of the same chicken for tacos and burritos. To top it off, the food was warm. Food must be hot and served right off the grill. We understand that it’s very difficult to keep a large stock a veriatiy of chicken for different dishes. If it can’t be done, let the customer know that it is not possible so they can order a different dish. The food that was fried had a taste of bad oil from the fryer. This time, the owner was not there. Like the first time. As much as I hate to give a review like this one, it is a must to keep food quality at its best. We will give them one more chance in the near future. Hopefully, they will correct some of the issues they have so I can review my post. Ever business needs a second chance. Remember El Jefe, the bad experience customers have reflect your business to survive. I will stop by again because we love to support all small businesses. By the way, it is next to Pedal Pops, and the tables and games are a pleasant place to relax.

I’ve tried it all. 12 out 10. If you’re on the go and gotta eat. El jefe understands and cuts your burrito in half for any eating needs.
Take the drive and come out to Farmington, and enjoy a true taste of Good Mexican food. A taste of home. Red hot sauce

I hate doing this to a local business, but for one the prices are ridiculous. $6 for chips and salsa, $12 for 3 tacos…. My quesabirria tacos were over cooked and hard to chew, the salsa was basically mild sauce from taco bell. The consome was great, but that was it. Maybe he just rushed it out as the last order of the night thinking I was just some gringo who didn’t grow up in Springdale???

The California Asada Burrito was scrumptious! The meat was very tender and the beans reminded me of my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago. Warm crispy tortilla chips and cool flavorful guacamole added to the food experience. Ooh, and the green salsa is delicious. Excellent food truck!

First time was pretty good—enough to go back. 2nd time, birria tacos. Guess wasn’t paying attention to no rice and beans, that’s on me, but, see pic, this is what I paid $12.35 for…really?
