This place is gorgeous! Our first time here for father’s day dinner and it was so good! My family enjoyed it very much. Waiter was very nice and friendly. Food was delicious and didn’t take too long. Prices are reasonable. Such a beautiful restaurant also. Outdoor seating is available. Reserving a table was easy and we were seated as soon as we arrived. We will definitely return.

Made reservations for 6:45, and they were able to get us in at 6ish, we were way early, that was probably the best part of it all. The host ran to the table with the menus and didn’t greet us and say you can follow me, nothing. The waitress was great, knew what she was doing.

The ceviche was more just shrimp with a VERY small amount of jalapeño, tomato, onion and cilantro. There was more chips leftover than there was the ceviche.

I ordered the ahi tuna salad, the salad part was great, but having 6 small slices of the tuna wasn’t really worth the price, and I understand tuna can be eaten any way, but this tuna tasted old and was obviously frozen, tasted extra fishy, it was raw, I’ve had ahi tuna before and it’s never been so fishy tasting before.

My husband ordered the short ribs, presentation was nice, two decent sized ribs on top of mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables, the ribs were tough and cold in the center, obviously re-warmed for it to be served, vegetables were hard, mashed potatoes tasted good. Definitely wasn’t worth the price.

We ordered and got our food within 15/20 mins not bad but maybe that should’ve been our sign, it wasn’t very busy for a Saturday evening, probably another bad sign.. overall it wasn’t a great first experience and probably won’t go back unfortunately.

Sure! Here’s a concise and honest review you can post on Google Maps for Rock River Tap and Table:

Great ambiance with a clean, modern aesthetic and a nice touch of greenery. The concept of using local ingredients is awesome and adds a lot of character. Service and food were decent overall—some dishes hit the mark, others not quite—but we appreciated the effort and creativity. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Vegan options available that aren’t an afterthought. Cheddar poblano biscuits, fresh baked with honey butter. So good. Chicken pot pie upscale comfort food. The pastry was perfect. White balsamic vinaigrette, made in house, on the fresh greens house salad is light, crisp, delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Alex provided friendly, comfortable, attentive service. The craft beer list and wine selection is extensive and they have house cocktails but could probably make what you’re looking for. On a sad note we forgot our baked Carmel brownie to go. Our fault. But there will be a next time.

Food was great, we had 4 different appetizers and lunch. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. The cocktails are pricey but tasty.

The food and service was spectacular. The atmosphere was quiet, but since we had a late lunch on a Sunday, I wasn’t expecting it to be that busy. I had the Chipotle salmon and my daughter had the parmesean crusted perch. Neither of us liked the dill sauce that came with the perch. I’m glad they put it on the side. Both of us cleaned our plates. I intend to come now often and taste more dishes.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for our date night. This was our first time here and we loved it. We went between lunch and dinner and the atmosphere was warm elegant and relaxed! The staff is amazing our server was wonderful and very helpful when it came to any question or opinion about the menu. The menu is laid out very well with plenty of options without feeling overwhelmed. The drink menu is very interesting I highly recommend the upside down margarita! We had a flatbread for our starter with their amazing Ruben and fries for our meal. The portions are perfect. I highly recommend this farm to fork restaurant where you will enjoy amazing food and drinks while supporting your local farms breweries and wineries in one stop!

Relaxed farm to table excellence. My Perch sandwich had a parmesean crusted tender filet with a light crispy crust, and flavorful dill slaw. My husband had the grilled ham and fontina sandwich. We both swapped fries for the garden salad that had fresh baby greens, pickled red onion and white balsamic dressing.
