Took my parents out for their birthday dinner at Nama by the Waterfront and what a great find this place turned out to be.
Tucked away near Siolim right on the river, it has that perfect Goan vibe, lively enough to feel like a party spot, but calm and breezy if you go in the afternoon and just want to chill by the water.
We trusted the owner’s cocktail recommendations and they absolutely delivered. To go with that we had some fantastic bites, smoky fish tikka, crispy jacket potatoes, and a prawn cafreal on toast that was honestly the star of the table. Such a fun and creative dish and ridiculously tasty. Wrapped the meal up with a comforting Thai green curry and rice which hit the spot perfectly.
If you’re in Goa and want to skip the super crowded mainstream places, this is a great little spot that still brings the proper Goan party vibe, just with a bit more space to breathe.

2. Avocado Cream Cheese Pizza Sushi – A unique fusion dish, creamy, fresh, and surprisingly satisfying.
3. Tempura Prawns – Light, crispy batter with perfectly cooked, tender prawns inside.

The view is excellent. The staff creates bit of issue in giving proper seating, despite being over priced. Food is very good, especially the tandoor options. Service needs to improve greatly. We didn’t get the seating we wanted despite multiple reminders and having vacant sofas. And later saw it being given to group foreigners. Disappointed.

The food is excellent—rich in taste and quality—though definitely on the pricier side, especially the beer which is too costly. The best-view seats look great but aren’t very comfortable because of the cushions, but thankfully they do have sofa options too.
Service is outstanding, with staff who are attentive and welcoming. Overall, a peaceful place with great food, amazing views, and a vibe that makes you want to sit back and enjoy the moment. Recommended for a relaxed, scenic experience!

As a fan of sushi, I can say this was some of the best I’ve had in Goa. The ingredients were top-notch, and the presentation was just as beautiful as the taste.
