I’ve been getting Ruben calzones for 4 years here, now this is so pathetic, I’m so disappointed, did refund me but still like come on this is just a cheese calzone with a sprinkle, no sauce and the calzone isn’t even closed/ it’s open like a pizza. What happened. Used to be filled with nice slices of corn beef and loaded with thousand island.

Was looking for a place to eat after some riding in the state Forest and so glad I found this place! The steak bomb is the best I’ve ever had. You can get it toasted coleslaw was excellent and they had a perfectly poured Guinness. What more could you need?

Ordered take out, aside from the missing extra sauce, everything was great. Buffalo chicken pizza with red onions was Calamari and stuffie were good, also ordered a chicken parm grinder but it was devoured before I thought to take a pic, very good. Will be back

We had an incredible meal at Town Grill & Pizzeria in Voluntown, Connecticut! Everything we ordered was absolutely out of this world.
We started with the Town Nachos and they were fantastic — loaded, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer to share. I ordered the Town Burger and it was delicious and seriously satisfying. Packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, it definitely hits the spot.
My wife had the clam chowder and loved it — rich, creamy, and full of fresh flavor. Our two daughters had the mac and cheese with fries, and they cleaned their plates, which says everything you need to know!
Great food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re in Voluntown!

Have eaten here since I was younger but haven’t in a long time until my dad kept telling me about the Ruben egg rolls. Got me to come back and celebrate my birthday. Started with the Ruben egg rolls, ordered 2 orders, got 2 pizzas, eggplant and chicken, bacon, and ranch. Ordered a mediterranean salad. All super yummy. Waitress was very accommodating and on top of things. The food was delicious, especially the Ruben egg rolls. It’s definitely a redo item. Finished with lemon cake. Nice Atmosphere inside, has a screened in balcony outside, no ac, but the window’s open. We ate inside since it was 80 degrees. A five-star lunch, no complaints what so ever. This place is accessible for wheelchairs and my boyfriend chair was able to get under the table

I decided to try this place for the first time. I ordered mozzarella sticks and a steak & cheese sub. Just look at the picture of these mozzarella sticks. They’re clearly overcooked and of the ones I took a bite of, all were hollow; all the cheese went into the fryer. I’m appalled I was even served these, let alone charged $11 for them. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was because the steak & cheese wasn’t bad. But I won’t be going back.

This place was totally accommodating for a large drop in group. We had just wrapped up our 35th High School reunion just down the road. A bunch of us wanted to grab a bite and continue reminiscing. Someone suggested Town and Grill. We rolled in with about 20ppl and the management rolled with us and was able to set up an area for us to sit. We ordered a couple of pizzas, mozzarella sticks and wings. Was very happy with everything. The pizza had a slightly thinner crust with just enough crisp to it. The Mozzarella sticks were nice and hot, super stringy. Found the Buffalo Wings were good-sized and nice n’ plump. Buffalo sauce had the perfect amount of heat. If I was in the area, I would definitely check this place out again.

Food was amazing! Love that there are so many dietary options for special diets. Being celiac I loved that I could even get a delicious dessert. My 80 year old picky father absolutely loved the coffee, lasagna, onion rings and his blueberry cheesecake.

We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch on and we received a gluten-free roll that was not grilled and one slice of cheese. At that point they sent us the bill and you will see that they charged $8 for a sandwich that wasn’t even properly made. When we told the waitress that sandwich was not to our expectations we basically got told that a supervisor would come over and talk to us, which they did and instead of offering us to remove the charge or reduce it they offered us a dessert instead. Normally we eat here often after church, not anymore. I normally give people a solid effort, but honestly the supervisor was condescending and acted like we were trying to get something for free. I told her we just wanted the price adjusted to reflect the food, had she offered even to take $2.00 off we would have been fine with that, instead we were met with rudeness.

I got the Italian Grinder and it was very good. However I’d of put a little more meat on it if I were making it, although that’s not a complaint; just a comment.
Town Grill & Pizzeria is a very clean and very fancy place for Voluntown, which Voluntown is the Redneck Capitol of Connecticut, well done.
