Freezing temperatures in the dining room made it very uncomfortable. Food was not up to a fine dining experience as they advertised. They are sorely understaffed so there was no way for them to keep up and the restaurant was half empty. I can’t imagine had it been busy. Ordered steak frites and the fries could have been from a diner. They brought the wrong salad twice, each time it was the same sad filet which had been back and forth to the table on the different salads over the course of 30 minutes so it was freezing (the same temperature as the room). The picture is of the salad from the first go around. They brought a completely different salad than what I ordered. The steak was as hard as a rock and I finally just asked them to take the salad after it came the second time with croutons and I had ordered without. They asked me to scrap the croutons off the salad myself and I explained I am celiac and cannot just scrap off croutons. I will say the bartender was trying her best but she is not a miracle worker. Between them not having enough people to take care of the tables there and the disaster of the food, this was not the experience they sell on the website. Many things went terribly wrong here.

Me and my wife went here for nye, they were put of everything. There was only one server serving 9-10 tables she was also the bartender. It was understaffed and the chicken burger was soaked with oil we didn’t eat a piece. Very disappointed at the service and food for the expensive price. Not.to mention we had to wait 15mins to be seated in a quiet empty night

The food was great! The drinks were also good. I enjoyed the ambiance and ended up going for both breakfast and dinner. Try the tomato soup and grilled cheese.. it is like no other. Usually, hotel restaurants are over priced and bland… nope not this place. It was really good! I was also impressed because my wait staff was SO attentive.

How fast I was able to be seated and get my food was impressive. The food is delicious and cook to order and the service was impeccable. Everyone treated me with such kindness so respect is just made me feel at home. The atmosphere gave classy and rich, and while I am only one of those, I do not feel out of place. I will definitely be coming back here. The gooey butter cake was also the best that i have had in STL so far!!!

Stayed in hotel came in for a quick lunch ordered. Sandwhich because that’s pretty much the option. Order taken right away over 30 minutes still waiting. I realize there aren’t many options to eat in this area but you will do well to avoid this place.

We are from Wisconsin, and we needed a little bite. We shared the flatbread appetizer. It was much bigger than we expected. It had a crispy thin crust, and we loved it! Also loved the hospitality that our server and J.W. showed us! Friendly people and great food!
Butter cake was delicious.

My husband and I were in St. Louis for a little weekend stay. Things were going great until our breakfast this morning. They were extremely shorthanded and it took 45 minutes to get our breakfast which came out cold, ill prepared and not as described as on the menu. What made it worse was people who came in after us were getting their food before us. A table with a family walked out due to the fact that their breakfast was not coming out in a timely manner. They had waited 35 – 40 minutes as well.
The server was not to blame. He was busting his butt to get things done but was literally held captive by poor management from the GM down. If you cannot get things done to help your team or figure this out you are in the wrong business.
We ourselves have been in the restaurant industry for years. We would never have let this happen to our staff or our guests.
We will stay at the hotel because it was convenient and clean but we will not dine at their restaurant unless something changes.

Came in near 9pm on a Sunday for a late dinner.
Did was flavorful and portions good. Loved the charm of the old building and the chandeliers and stained glass windows give the old world charm you can’t find often!

One of the best food spots I visited while on business in St. Louis! I stayed at the Magnolia hotel. I needed a quick bite to eat before I headed to the airport and none of the surrounding options looked appetizing. I’m so glad I went here!
I had the Thai sweet chilli wings and fries. The food came out quick and piping hot (temperature). It was about 10 wings and the edges were crispy and so were the fries. The service was very fast and attentive. Janice was my server. There is a pool table and bar. The vibe is very chill!
