This place was down the street from my vacation rental, the waitress was awesome never ignored my table and she was definitely a busy woman, that place is definitely a local favorite, and honestly after I got my food I could tell why the locals like it so much!
Also Huge portion sizes!! I would definitely recommend coming here for anyone on vacation in the area wanting some good food!!

After a day of fishing, this is a nice spot to stop for a drink and a quick meal. They have local and standard brews on tap. They have a full bar and TV’s for the game. We ordered burgers, Patty Melt, and an appatizer of bobcat balls and buckeye balls. The sandwiches come with chips, but you can get fries with an upcharge. The broasted chicken was great. Nice portion and seasoned well. They have a small salad bar, very basic. We were seated right away. The server was very nice and attentive to our needs. The bar seats around 15, and the restaurant seats about 50. The bathrooms are clean. They also have a pool table in the back.

My husband and I enjoyed some crips beverages with our delicious dinner that was all brought to us by our wonderful waitress, Dawn, who served up everything with a smile. I was on the fence about what to order and with her recommendation I got the Kickin’ Chicken sandwich. I was about to request no BBQ but she told me it comes on the side and insisted I try it anyways. BOY WAS SHE RIGHT! I usually don’t like BBQ but wow that was yummy stuff and it soothed the heat of the jalapenos. We also came in a little after 8pm without realizing they close at 9. Dawn didn’t make us feel rushed one bit and encouraged us to just take our time and enjoy our food. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Dawn as our waitress again!

Nice place off the beaten path so to speak; warm wooden decor, inviting. Neighborhood type of bar but family dining as well. Recommended by family of my own, we tried it out on vacation and glad to say I believe we’ll be back. Friendly service, lots of TVs for the Tigers game that was on that day. Played some Club Keno, ample monitors for that as well. Food was great; nice variety on the menu, which is available on their website. I had bacon cheeseburger and fries, the wife had a taco salad and son had BBQ pulled pork sandwich and fries and we all enjoyed it. We’d also started with an app of pepper jack mac and cheese bites with bacon that were also yummy. Looking forward to our next visit.

Nice atmosphere with reasonable prices and plenty of parking. The footlong hotdogs are wonderful, one of the best hotdogs I’ve ever had. Very good flavor and weighs in at a half pound for just the dog. My wife had the fish fry (lake perch), which she said was fantastic as well.

A hidden gem! Great joint to fill up on some good grub. Waitress was extremely friendly and informative about the area. A must stop if you’re in the area.

Stopped by on a Sunday drive. Mike offered the ribs on special.. and wow…they were fall- off-the bone tender in saucy goodness!
