I went here for dinner with my husband and my 1.5 year old daughter. I was blown away by our experience here. The hostess, waiters and everyone else working was so kind. Any parents know how hard it can be to be out to eat with a toddler. The workers came over a long different times and interacted with our daughter which helped keep her happy and calm. This meant a lot to me. The food was amazing as well as the service. I do not live in the area but will remember this place if i ever come back in town! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We had a generally great experience at Joyce’s Sushi! The food quality is definitely the highlight here. The Dragon Roll was fresh and flavorful, and the Ikura (salmon roe) was high-quality with that perfect salty pop. We also highly recommend the baked mussels; they were rich, savory, and cooked to perfection.
The only downside to our visit was the service. Our server, Eddie, was… interesting. His behavior was quite odd and definitely a bit “off-beat,” which made for some awkward moments throughout the meal.
Overall, the food is worth the visit, even if the service comes with a side of quirkiness!

Everything here was fantastic. The Seaweed salad was excellent. The Takoyaki had a delicious smoky flavor. The sushi was perfect. And the ambiance was fun and unique. My new favorite place in the desert.

I got a double salmon roll and it was absolutely delicious! My husband got the 3 item bento and it was A LOT of food. Amazing portion! The tankatsu was fabulous and the chicken teriyaki was also really great. Highly recommend this place! It was such a treat!

Hello, we ate here on Sat 1/31/26 and the food is varied and plentiful but unfortunately my son woke up profusely vomiting the following morning at 3 AM.

I’ve been trying to contact the restaurant to inform them about this but haven’t been able to reach anyone. If someone there can please reach out we would be most appreciative!

He ate two Baja fresh rolls with the spicy tuna and he’s the only one who had much of those rolls.

We also had the Hamachi carpaccio (amazing), salmon on top (we asked for no mayo on it but it came drenched in mayo), dragon roll, Toro sashimi, salmon nigiri (delectable!), and shishito peppers (drowning in sauce). The sashimi was extremely stringy and too fibrous to consume. They were very gracious about refunding the money for our sashimi since it was too hard to eat.

They brought my son a birthday dessert with a candle on top which was a sweet touch.

They do seem extremely busy and it’s a frenetic atmosphere as it seems they are trying to serve a lot of sushi to many people. It seems more like the ambience of a Chinese restaurant than a Japanese restaurant.

The dishes that were great were truly phenomenal but some were a miss. And apparently one caused illness which is a massive bummer. We flew home early today since one of my sons was so sick, so we missed our final day of hiking, pool, and sunshine. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I didn’t want to put this in a public forum until I spoke with the restaurant but can’t reach anyone and just want someone to be aware of the situation.

I enjoy the food and atmosphere here. Although the dining room is a bit small and cramped, even when it’s crowded, it still doesn’t feel like it’s crowded.

They’ve got one of those robot food delivery trolleys with an electronic face and cat ears. It’s very cute.

Overall, this is a great place to eat. The portion sizes are generous, and the staff is friendly. It’s my favorite (non-teppanyaki) Japanese restaurant in town.

This is hands down the best suhi place.
We have tried so many places in the valley, and we fell in love with JOYCE and the chefs so attentively and fast with our orders, the fish, Oysters is so fresh.
You will have to do a wait as it is always super busy but it is worth the wait I promise.

Found this place at last minute. The prices seemed high but was well worth it for the quality and quantity. The most fish I have ever been served for Chirashi. And the miso soup that came with the dinner was one of the best I ever ate. Great service too. Will definitely come back.
