If you’re looking for a welcoming, ‘stay-a-while’ kind of place, Blue Barn is it. It’s one of the few spots that truly feels like family fun for all ages. The selection of ciders and food is top-tier (Jastaberry is my go to), and the in-house shop is a dangerous (but wonderful) addition—you’re definitely going to want to take some bottles home with you. A local favorite that we’ll continue to visit again and again.

We visited Blue Barn Cidery for their Christmas light drive-thru, and overall it was a great experience. The drive-through cost around $40, which felt a bit shorter compared to other light shows we’ve attended — it took about 10-12 minutes to go through — but it was still fun and festive.
We also paid an additional $5 per person to go inside the barn afterward, and that was definitely worth it. The barn was beautifully decorated, and each of us received a ticket to visit different activity stations, including reindeer food, Santa visits, and crafts. There was also free hot cocoa, which was a nice touch.
It did take a little while to find a table for crafts since it was pretty crowded, but once we settled in, it was a really enjoyable experience. Knowing this was their first year offering the light show, we’re excited to see how it grows in the future. We’ll likely be back.

You place your order up at the bar and they gave you a pager to pick up your order to the side. This is typical pub ordering so no big deal. The butternut squash flatbread was phenomenal as was the orzo salad. My husband wanted to drink the chimichurri sauce served with the pulled pork sandwich because it was so delicious.

Enjoyed our first brunch at Blue Barn. We had a breakfast plate, a breakfast sandwich and breakfast tacos. We shared the cinnamon rolls. Everything was delicious!!! Very filling! Took home leftovers. We also had some signature Irish drinks (for St Patrick’s Day) and my husband had coffee with bourbon cream! Fabulous!

Wife wanted to try some where new with a great view. So we took a trip to Blue Barn Cidery . It was a cooler night so inside was packed , but there was plenty of seats. Outside would be a great spot in the spring or summer . The ciders were crispy and tasty , no fake added flavors . The menu was pretty big , the nachos were huge, lots of unique toppings the pretzels were pretty standard but the apple Carmel dipping sauce was a great twist the burger was solid , could have been slightly less cooked but still a great meal and I would highly recommend a Visit to Blue Barn

Very chill spot in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive. We ordered flights of beers & ciders and they were all legit. I think highlights were Jostaberry, Blueberry Kolsch & white peach mango jam. Food was solid too we sampled Nachos, pretzels and loaded fries… all fairly unique spins on these pub favorites. Great atmosphere, chill servers and good vibes out in the sun, will definitely return.

I went here with a friend for Sunday brunch. The decorations were nice, it was clean. I did not like the open space dining, it felt like I was in a school cafeteria. This also made it loud and had a busy feel. We were seated by the bar and had a constant line of people ordering within inches of us then entire time we were there. You don’t have a server, you go to the bar to place your order for drink and food. Then someone brings you your meal. No one checks in to see if you need anything or if everything was ok. I noticed that even the take out containers for left overs were self serve. The food and drinks were excellent. Reservations are recommended, we placed them online.

I’d like to share my experience from our recent visit.
We drove two hours to Rochester and are not familiar with the area. We arrived around 7:50 PM — later than we originally expected — and placed our order around 8:15 PM. Our party included three adults and five children. We ordered a variety of food and drinks, including two growlers.
First, the children’s pasta was extremely spicy.. surprisingly so, even for the adults in our group. None of the children were able to eat it, and the adults ended up finishing those meals instead.
More concerning, however, was finding a metal wing nut screw inside our french fries. This was incredibly alarming, especially with five children at the table. We immediately brought it to the kitchen’s attention. Unfortunately, the manager did absolutely nothing — not even an apology. Nothing was comped, no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation, and no attempt was made to make it right. It felt very impersonal and dismissive.
To add to the disappointment, we also felt rushed out toward the end of our meal.
Overall, this was a very concerning and disappointing experience, especially after driving two hours. Finding a metal object in food is a serious safety issue, and the lack of response from management was even more troubling.
Bartenders were pleasant, poor management!

Very welcoming, lots of seating in and out, many dogs and children. If you’re going north out of parking lot there is a deep pothole on the north west corner
