Perry St Restaurant is a truly refined and elegant place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely positive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The food was absolutely delicious. We started with pumpkin soup, a salad, and a tuna roll as an appetizer — everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For the main course, we had the feta omelet, served with crispy potatoes and a perfectly seasoned fresh salad. Every dish tasted fresh and thoughtfully made.
We also enjoyed a cappuccino, which was the perfect way to start our day. Overall, it was a wonderful, healthy, and relaxing dining experience.
I highly recommend Perry St Restaurant and look forward to visiting again for dinner.

Just like any of Jean-George’s restaurants, there were some real winners on the menu. The scotch egg with caviar. The fried chicken – which ate like adult chicken nuggets in the best way possible. The blackened seabass. All delightful dishes and worth going to Perry St for.
Unfortunately, I have also come to expect some misses at his restaurants as well. The ahi tuna was fine but unspectacular, same goes for the ricotta. The chocolate pudding lacked luster, and the ginger margarita – an apparent JG speciality – had zero ginger profile and was poorly balanced. We had to send it back.
The meal came across like a whimsical, nostalgic stroll through childhood classics done in an elevated way, but the theme was inconsistent and the price point was Michelin level. This meal was certainly not that.
For $150 a head I expect more than a fried egg and fried chicken on my tasting menu. The caviar was the only real extravagance, and it was excellent. But I came away wanting so much more than the menu delivered up.
My recommendation, avoid the tasting menu if you come to Perry St. It’s not worth the price of admission.

We very much enjoyed our dinner. The atmosphere is very relaxed with low noise level. Service was attentive and smiling . Food was delicious. We had the chicken and also the sea bass . Both were nicely done . I would go again .

As an asian trying this Asian-American fusion meal, the whole experience just felt off. The presentation tried to look refined and high-end, but the components themselves were relatively cheap or basic—like the kind of stuff we’d use in everyday Asian cooking. That contrast could’ve been interesting, but here it just didn’t make sense. It’s not that the food was terrible, but it kind of broke the original balance of the ingredients. The flavor, the sauce—everything felt mismatched and out of sync.
For example, the main dish was fried chicken. I was expecting something more delicate or elevated, but it turned out to be just two huge pieces of chicken sitting on the plate. It was juicy, it was fine, but it just felt… clumsy. Around the chicken, there were some random corns scattered, and I was genuinely shocked when I saw the dish—it felt kind of lazy in both idea and execution.
And the dessert, honestly, it felt very perfunctory—like something they just threw in to finish the meal. It didn’t taste good and definitely didn’t leave a good impression. The service didn’t help either—our server basically overlooked us most of the time and barely responded to what we needed.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Enjoyed a really nice dinner here! Interior was gorgeous, very simplistic but modern and vibey. Tried the restaurant week menu ($60 3 course), VERY worth it in my opinion. Ordered the burrata and sea bass crispy rice appetizers, trompetti vodka pasta and miso cod as entrees, and the chocolate lava cake and pineapple upside down cake as dessert. All lovely- good presentation and well done dishes. Service was prompt and very pleasant. I would recommend!

Wow, where should I begin? They warmly welcomed us like family upon arrival. Introduced themselves, sat us down right away. Came around often to top us off with water. The cocktails were outstanding, and the food, even more amazing. I was so impressed. The caviar dish is a must. The asparagus salad is also not to be missed. You must get both of their cheese appetizers, the bass, and their salmon main. It had to be one of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had. The preparation was flawless. The broth was incredible; it was a nice juicy piece with the crispy skin…incredibly well executed. The Balthazar bread is always excellent. The deserts, strawberry shortcake and chocolate dish…delicious. We were full, but made room, they were too good to leave behind. Thank you a million times over. Please keep doing what you’re doing, all of you. You clearly continue to take pride in your culinary craft, and hospitality. I can tell that you don’t skim on quality of ingredients either, in true JG form. Love this place. Location is amazing, close to the expansive water views. Grabbing a taxi is easy too, quick trip to Hudson Yards for the Vessel, Little Island, Chelsea Piers, whatever. There are so many options along that side of Manhattan. This is truly an NYC gem!

It’s a Jean-Georges (Cedric, son of) restaurant, so you already know you’ll be in for an experience. The food and service are likely to be excellent (they are), and the atmosphere elegant (it is). You can also expect to pay nicely for that experience. So the question is, is it worth it? If you’re not independently wealthy, then for a special occasion it absolutely is. We were a group of 8 and shared most of the appetizers and entrees. All delicious and beautifully presented. The menu changes regularly, so I’m not going to tease with specifics that may no longer be there. If it sounds good, order it. Staff was attentive (but not cloying), and everything (including the bathrooms) was immaculate. For us it was a splurge that we very much enjoyed.

Really great food. The pea soup was the best soup I have ever had. The green curry was amazing too. As well as the chicken, and sushi! The molten cake was not that great. It felt like it was frozen and then thawed.
