My husband and I went on a Friday a little passed noon and didn’t have to wait to be seated. Small location but very popular with delicious food. We went with the all you can eat since it includes the entire menu which to me was a pretty good deal. Food was brought out in a timely matter, staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely would like to go back

We came here for the all you can eat, and it was absolutely worth it.Dumpling Bar on Huntington Drive delivers solid value and good quality, especially if you come hungry. The dumplings came out hot, fresh, and consistently good. You are not getting tiny portions or rushed plates. They keep them coming, and everything tasted properly cooked and well seasoned.

What stood out was that the food did not feel mass produced even though it was AYCE. The wrappers had a good bite, the fillings were flavorful, and nothing tasted frozen or old. We tried several rounds and never felt like the quality dropped.

Service was attentive and efficient. Plates came out at a steady pace, and we never felt ignored or pressured to leave. They explained the AYCE rules clearly, which made the experience smooth. The ambiance feels well balanced. There is some light chatter around, but it never gets overwhelming. It is comfortable, relaxed, and a good place to sit, eat, and enjoy your time.

Overall, if you are debating whether the all you can eat option is worth it, it is. You leave full, satisfied, and feeling like you got your money’s worth. Definitely a spot I would return to for dumplings.

The food here is delicious! Amazing! Definitely rivals the well known competitor (DTF) in flavor and quality of the dishes. We had the Xioa Long Bao (soup dumpling) so good, decent sized, great flavor, 6 pieces. We also tried the scallion oil noodles with pork cutlet, my son LOVED IT, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the cutlet was so crispy. We also shared the chicken wonton in spicy sauce, also a favorite. The sauce was well balanced mix of sweet, spicy, tangy flavors complementing the wonton. Of course we had the traditional cucumber salad and string beans w/garlic. A must when going to a dumpling restaurant. The string beans had a little char on them but a good snap when you bite into them and soooooo garlicky. I wiuld definitely recommend. The place is small, only about 10-15 tables of 2; so there was a bit of a wait. We went on a Saturday afternoon between 12-1 and we waited about 25-30 min for 2 people. Overall, a great experience. Oh also you can order items individually or as AYCE. Weekdays is $29.99 and weekends is $32.99. Not a bad deal if all you want is dumplings.

A very nice dumpling bar called dumpling bar. I’d say just follow the server’s recommendation because most of the dishes here are very good. Dandan noodle is very good. The katsu portion is large. I love fried rice the most, I think the flavor is really yummy and umami, although my friend said it can be made at home. XLB and spicy sauce dumplings are also very good and must try!

The Service: The employee of the year definitely goes to SUN!! It’s a one man show. She is the host, server, busboy & cashier. Super efficient!! She is moving in & out the kitchen non-stop AND she is attentive to every table. Impressive customer service!

The Food: This is what I called “comfort food”. The chefs in the kitchen are working as a great team. Food are served quickly. They are steamy hot too.

Since it is called Dumpling Bar. We definitely have to try their Xiao Long Bao & steamed dumplings. Yes! Very juicy inside Xiao Long Bao! Lots of meat filling of their dumplings. Good price too. If you like spicy & more strong flavor, try the Chicken Wonton. The spicy sauce is so good that I dipped all my dumplings in there.

Scallions pancake is always my must order on the menu. Their pancakes are thicker & very flaky inside with lots of scallions. Extra effort for the chef to knead the dough.

Sun recommended us to try their noodles dishes. So we ordered Taiwanese Dan Dan Noodles with fried pork cutlet and Braised Beef Noodles Soup. OMG! I think their noodles are handmade because great texture & chewy. The seasoning is just perfect. Not overly salty. Love the plating presentation too. They are very generous with the meat portions.

We saw they have dessert buns, chocolate & custard flavors. We were too full but we will definitely come back again & try them.

The Parking: Street parking (2hrs free) & more parking at the back

They have a very small cute courtyard sharing with a sandwich shop & coffee shop.

Dumpling bar may be known for their juicy XLBs and pan fried dumplings, but I am such a fan of their shrimp har gow as well! The skin is so translucent and thin, and packed with a huge shrimp with shrimp paste that you don’t get at any other dim sum place. It really surprised me how well-made it was! The fried dumplings were so crispy on the bottom and had a big portion of juicy meat as well.

The only downside was the super long wait for our food (it was a weekday lunch time around 1 PM but seemed to be backed up in orders). The place was full but only one staff and maybe one person in the kitchen. We waited so long for the food that by the time we got our food the staff told us the kitchen will be closing, so we didn’t get a chance to try more of the menu. Oh well.

Pot stickers, Xiao long bao are flavorful, fresh and juicy. Seaweed egg drop soup is flavorful. Braised beef noodle is lacking in flavor, it’s missing depth in flavor. Hot and soup is too oily and the flavor is off . Bbq pork buns doesn’t taste and looks like they made it ( more like store bought ). For the noodles portions are too big and lack in flavor. They also automatically charge 15% Service fee. Will I come back for it? No

What a solid spot for homemade dumplings and noodles! The price is right and everything comes made to order. This is a perfect place to share a bunch of different plates. Service was so great and it’s very much a nice “come-as-you-are” spot for casual dining.

First time to the restaurant. Food tasted great! Service was exceptional. The last order for the AYCE option must be placed by 1:15 pm as the restaurant closes at 2:00 pm.

Be mindful that 15% service fee is already added when you’re ready to pay.

If you’re in San Marino, you need to check out Dumpling Bar for their unbeatable $24.99 per person ($12.99 for children 3-12 yrs) AYCE every weekday (except Tuesday) deal — this spot serves up the perfect mix of Chinese comfort food and Asian fusion flavors

We tried it all:
Hot & Sour Soup and Egg Drop Soup to start
Pork Xiao Long Bao and Boiled Dumplings (pork, shrimp, cabbage — so juicy!)
Taiwanese Dan Dan Noodles with that nutty, spicy kick
String Beans with Garlic for a crispy, garlicky bite
And the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Prawn Japanese Pasta — rich, creamy, and an unexpected favorite!
Plus, dim sum staples like Har Gow and BBQ Pork Buns

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care — definitely a San Marino gem worth checking out
