There is something for everyone on the online menu, with plenty of pictures with helpful descriptions. I am a sucker for Red Curry, but it can be hit or miss. I decided to shoot my shot, not knowing if this establishment was authentic or if it would live up to my expectations. I have to say, the portions and amount of components/ingredients within their red curry is astounding, and the flavor is out of this world. I am also a bit of a Thai coffee snob, and theirs definitely hit the mark.
The ordering experience was painless. The menu was helpful, the person taking the order was clear and repeated the order back to me. While I didn’t eat in the restaurant, I took a look around while picking up my meal, and it has a lovely ambiance. I was impressed that while we had a large order, it was ready in 15min or less.
If you’re ever in the Newport/Toledo area, I would definitely consider stopping in, or calling ahead. I had a wonderful experience, and I can’t recommend this place enough.
The service was warm and welcoming, with staff who clearly care about both the food and the guests. The atmosphere was cozy and clean—perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. This will definitely be a go-to spot for us anytime we visit Newport!
went there last weekend with my gf and she loved her squid pad thai too. they added curry powder to the pineapple fried rice which added a delivious flavor that i haven’t had at other restaurants.
the staff were great and the atmosphere was nice. take note that the straws aren’t quite big enough for the boba, so it’ll take some effort to suck them up!
A word of warning, I can handle A LOT of heat. The medium-hot curry is the sweet spot for me. I tried the hot red curry and my tongue was tingling the entire time lol. You can also order less spicy and they will bring out a spice tray so you can add heat.
All the veggies are fresh tasting and the dishes taste so light compared to other restaurants.
