Vibrant restaurant & bar serving both Hawaiian & Japanese cuisine, including sushi.

I haven’t been back for a few years, due to a unpleasant visit, so I thought I’d give them another shot. My experience was basically the same: subpar food and poor service. The sushi didn’t taste very fresh and the shrimp tempura wasn’t even deveined. The hot dishes were just OK, but the pad thai was not good at all; it tasted more like tomato than tamarind. On top of that, my server was pretty rude. I will be staying away from this place in the future

Peaceful, pleasant, lovely experience. The food was a unique take on pad Thai, and the dessert options are perfect. This restaurant is easy to miss, but don’t ignore this fantastic eatery. You won’t go hungry either, the serving sizes are more than adequate for left overs. Pleasant customer service, makes a great place for a quick bite to eat or even a date night!

We came to Bismarck and stayed the night in a local hotel and did some Doordash. Food was excellent. Sushi was fresher than anywhere I’ve had in ND. The tuna tataki was outstanding!! The spicy tuna roll was gross. Only until we got to ND did we have the pleasure of having panko bread crumbs inside my spicy tuna roll. Been all over the world, and only here do they do that.

Absolutely terrible. Dry, flavorless fried shrimp served with a flavorless mayo based “sauce” that tastes like plain mayonnaise. Mediocre sushi served with way too much pickled ginger, the smell is quite overpowering. My kani salad was ordered mild, and I recieved spicy kani salad with almost zero cucumber. It was cucumber peels instead. My dinner was supposed to come with macaroni salad, I didn’t receive it. We won’t even talk about the noodles. That was something from another planet, apparently. We’re talking Star-Trek Klingon food. I threw the noodles in the trash. Please save your money and go elsewhere.

Best sushi place in town. A lot of variety in sushi and other dishes. Happy Hour menu is excellent, otherwise dinner prices can get expensive. Lunch specials are very reasonable. Always find friendly service here. They treat you well here. Hawaiian food is just so-so. Chicken katsu tastes great here. Same with pork gyoza, chicken egg rolls, etc. Get the King Crunchy sushi roll – you won’t be disappointed!

Great experience! Fast service & large portion sizes.
Gyoza & edamame for appetizers were very delicious. Ordered the Hawaiian chicken & garlic shrimp for the entrees.

My spouse was excited to get the loco moco, as she had tried it in Maui. I was just ready for some good sushi. We basically enjoyed neither.
The loco moco was very bland (I know, it’s supposed to be comfort breakfast food), but this was pretty much tasteless. The sushi was extremely dry, and also with very little taste.

I have been here quite a lot ✌️
Sushi taste really good!!!!
Drunken Noodle and Pad See u also really good!!
They have an award winning bartender there (Tony)!
The price is considered cheap, especially when it is a happy hour time. They have 2 cycle of happy hour. I forget about the first cycle, but the second cycle starts from 8:30 p.m till close, and It’s a all day happy hour on monday!!

Definitely my favorite spot in Bismarck/Mandan hands down. The service is always spot on, quick, and great. The food is never a miss, especially with the Hawaiian items. My go to are the BBQ beef or the shortribs, followed my the ninjago roll. Their drinks are also great. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to have delicious food, drinks, and an all around great dining experience.

Wonderful dine in dinner of miso soup (some of the best I’ve had), pork Gyoza to start. The we had a dinner of Seafood Soba and Yaki Udon. We had large portions so we won’t be hungry soon. Our meals were about $15 apiece and appetizers were free on the special.
