What a find! Authentic. Tasty. Reasonable. All the normal standbys and they taste good. But they have a grilled eggplant to die for and chicken livers that are so healthy and delicious. You want to modification? No problem! Surprising location. You’ll see. This Florida man comes every time I’m in town.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food. I’ve never had better lamb. Portions are generous and presentation is beautiful. Pita was flavorful and soft, salads were beautiful and fresh, rice was tender, and the beef and lamb skewers were perfectly seasoned. Everything was SO good. There are currently no drink offerings, but we noted other diners step to the bar and get drinks. Chilled water was on the table.

Love this place! The chef and staff are wonderful. We are regular downtown Knoxville residents and this is one of our top best cuisine experiences. They serve authentic Mediterranean cuisine, with dishes change based on seasons outstanding ingredients. Don’t miss the chef’s special, always a great experience. The photos show the range of dishes. From salads, sides, and meats. The staff is always interested in making sure you’re satisfied.

What a spectacular find! The chef is super friendly and came out to see if we had questions. We tried a bunch of different dishes and they were all excellent including the beet salad, hummus bowl, shawarma pita and schnitzel pita. They gave us falafel to try too and it was excellent. The pita was so soft and fresh. We definitely recommend!

I’ve never tried earlier such a mouthwatering falafel! It was just wow! So yummy! Humus was perfect, Moroccan tea is always nice to feel the spirit of Mediterranean cuisine! One love and I will visit it again soon to try other dishes!❤️
And the most important thing is it’s halal and kosher food! Respect!

If you like Mediterranean food, this place is perfect.
Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor.
The dishes are simple, healthy, and made with real care.
I could feel the quality in every bite.

Absolutely phenomenal experience.
I love Mediterranean food but my husband has never had it like this so we wanted to try it since we were staying in Embassy anyway, we were both blown away. The food was so simple, yet so flavorful. He got the beef and lamb kebab and I got the Israeli mezze, it is so many small plates for only $25. I am not a fan of American, processed hummus but here it was so good. We WILL be back!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our meal at KoPita was one of my favorite vegan meals I’ve ever had. The restaurant is a lovely hidden gem tucked up on the second floor of the Embassy Suites hotel in downtown Knoxville. Every member of the staff was warm and attentive (we loved them) and our shareable mezze-style meal (Israeli salad, green salad with radish, pickled daikon and turnips, olives, two kinds of babaganoush, hummus, sesame cabbage slaw, falafel, shakshuka, vegan shawarma, mushrooms and couscous, and delicious pillowy pitas followed by baklava and Turkish coffee!!!), was more food than we thought we’d be able to eat, but everything was so good that we ended up with only a little bit left to take home. The chef came out to introduce his dishes and took visible pride in each one (and in how much we were enjoying them when he checked back).
