Disappointing Decline in Service at My Favorite Starbucks

I’ve been a loyal customer of this Starbucks for years, and I used to love coming here for both the coffee and the welcoming atmosphere. However, my experience over the past two months has been incredibly disappointing.

The staff, who once greeted me with a smile and took my order quickly, now seem disinterested and disengaged. It’s not uncommon for me to stand at the register without any acknowledgment, even when employees walk right past me. The warmth and friendliness that once characterized this place have vanished, replaced by a noticeable lack of enthusiasm.

While I occasionally encountered issues with my drinks in the past, they were minor and easily overlooked due to the friendly service. Now, the slow service and the overall demeanor of the staff leave much to be desired. It feels as though they’ve forgotten the importance of customer interaction—at the very least, a simple “hello” would go a long way.

I find it hard to believe that this is the same Starbucks I used to love. It’s disappointing to see such a decline in service quality. I hope to find a coffee shop that truly values its customers and their experience. Until then, I can’t recommend this location.

Do not go inside to order. This location prioritizes mobile orders and drive thru over in person orders. We waited over 30 minutes for a passion tea lemonade before finally getting told our order wasn’t a priority so we canceled the order and left. This explains why there are always people sitting around waiting for their food and drinks with piles of mobile orders just sitting on their counter. The management here could definitely do a better job.

This location consistently shuts down the cafe earlier than the posted hours.They’re always closing the cash register about a half hour to 40 minutes before the close times, 8:30/9pm and turn your away. If you’re not intending to stay open until you’re posted close times, then change the hours, so people don’t waste their time. Very unprofessional.

i’m only giving this review because i’m tried of this starbucks failing me. drive through always takes forever. i go here once a week and im usually stuck in the driver through for 25 min. the drinks sometimes are missing ingredients and after waiting for 25 min for your drink they tell you they’re out of stock. the employees are mostly nice. but sometimes i get one who has an attitude. and all this ads up to a terrible experience

Good location, inside of a shopping plaza. Had indoor and outdoor seating, pretty large space. Lots of things to purchase in terms of Starbucks, souvenirs.

I Order the white mocha, tasted great. I waited by the pick up side for my drink to come out. I sort of heard my name mumbled, the barista was making drinks, and just sitting them down, but wasn’t really announcing to the customers that their drink was ready. I would just suggest to make a louder announcement.

Avoid This Starbucks at All Costs!

I frequent Starbucks for my espresso fix, but the Marina Bay location is a total nightmare. I try to avoid it like the plague. The staff seems more interested in gossiping and chatting than serving customers. The lines are always ridiculously long, and it’s clear they can’t manage the crowd efficiently.

I had a Starbucks voucher I got from a Coinstar machine, but when I went to use it, nobody at the store knew what it was. I asked for the manager, hoping for some clarity, but she told me that the voucher was only valid at the Target Starbucks location. I knew that wasn’t true, but I didn’t want to make a scene, so I ended up just buying my coffee.

Later, I added the voucher to my Starbucks app without any issues. Clearly, this store needs some serious training on how to handle customer inquiries and vouchers. Save yourself the frustration and go to a different location!

I’m sorry to have to report this, the establishment is very good and I’ve been frequenting it for years, but lately it’s been very disorganized and delivery takes a long time, and sometimes other people are served before me.

It doesn’t make sense for someone to wait more than 20 minutes and not receive their order, while someone else’s order arrives first.

This is my third time here where they haven’t made my drink correct and the guy who always wears the black bandana argued w me about it. He pretends not to be arguing about it but he’s questioning me like I’m trying to get a free drink. I’m not! I’m just trying to make sure it’s made correct especially if Im paying six dollars for it ! They didn’t add whipped cream like I asked not my fault ! Then they forgot to add caramel drizzle to the whipped cream. When I asked him to just remake it he stood there talking over my drink w the lid off talking over my drink. Rude ! So then he thinks I asked if I wanted it to be extra hot bc he thought that’s what I said and I said no and then he reiterated what I asked and he said “it’s always nice to see familiar faces ” completely in genuine .
I’ve been a regular Starbucks consumer for DECADES. I’ve probably spent thousands of dollars on them and this is the only Starbucks where I get a hard time or questioned for wanting a drink remade or corrected . The main reason I come here is I like how spacious it is most others are cramped . And I like to go walking on the water after . But now I’m not so if I’ll be coming back here

This is the worst place you can ever have. I am a regular customer, I visit every morning or even 2 times a day for the last 7 years and I keep coming back to this place only because it is right around the corner from my house, if it weren’t for this I would never come back. There isn’t a single day that I don’t have a problem with the employees of this place. Or that they always make you wait for up to 10-15 minutes for your order and if they make a mistake with your order they tell you they will sell it to you but you have to come inside and they try to make you feel like it was your fault and if you don’t agree to go in they say… oh do you want me to refund your money… really ??? I definitely think I will not come back and much less recommend it, never come here it is not worth it.

It’s located in a area which stinks. As long as you are inside the store , you are good. The minute you step out, it stinks like hell. The drink was not as good as other Starbucks. Ordered 2 frappes, never in my past visits I got a runny frappe.
