We were in Steubenville to see the Nutcrackers and had planned to eat at Naples but they were closed so we went here instead. I’m really glad we did. Delicious homemade Italian food. The warm rolls with dipping oil were yummy. I had ravioli with meat sauce and my friend had the lemon chicken with fettuccine Alfredo. We are definitely going back. It’s worth the 50 minute drive.

We had our work Christmas party yesterday and ordered half trays, and everything was delicious!! My coworkers could not say enough about how much they enjoyed their meal. We will definitely have again next Christmas!

I was just there, to try the new wings. First my bag had an ocean of sauce that poured out into the paper bag. It soaked thru to everything. My seat in the car. The other 2 containers were covered as well. My husband said the mild were ok. But the garlic parm tasted like reheated, rubber, chicken. I called and spoke to someone named Veronica and she was so rude, I just hung up the phone. I’ll never eat here again. Now I have to cook dinner. Instead of an easy night.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! My parents ate here in Aug of 2018, & they both raved about how wonderful the food was. They FINALLY got to take my husband and I there on Tues. The food was amazing! The staff was very nice! The prices were great, especially for the amount of food you get. My dad just casually mentioned when we first got seated that they were bringing my husband and I for our anniversary, & our waitress asked us how many years we were married. So when we finished eating, the waitress & the owner (the Grandson of the woman who does a lot of the cooking) brought us out a surprise (photo attached). We were so surprised that they did that for us! Even though we live an hour & 1/2 away, l will definitely take a road trip to eat there again. Authentic Italian cuisine at great prices.

I was very excited about to try Scaffidi’s after reading all of the reviews. Unfortunately I didn’t find the food as good as others have. They seem to use fettuccine for every dish. I’d rather have a variety of pastas to choose from. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage and pepperoni. The pepperoni were burnt. It just didn’t meet my expectations. The sauce was more sweet than I like. My husband had the ravioli which came out not very hot. Our server was very nice and we enjoyed talking to her. The wedding soup was very good.

So glad we happened upon this gem in Steubenville. Delicious homemade Italian fare. Each dish delicious. The roast and gnocchi was so creamy, Alfredo with tender pot roast. A new favorite! . Family really enjoyed.
