Stopped at the River Pub, 200 French Street in Peshtigo, Wisconsin today. It’s a real nice place located just off of the Peshtigo River. They don’t serve food there besides pizza, so I enjoyed some chips w my drinks as I wasted some time during some bad weather passing through. The River Pub has a pool table and many hame machines that the patrons can enjoy. The bartender was very nice and provided great service. A nice place to spend some time.at.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We walked in and waited 15 min for a drink while Kelley ignored us still recieved no service took money out and waited longer and she walked back and forth ignoring us. Customer service should be a zero attitude and atmosphere are a zero. I really think that’s disgusting behavior from a bartender whose only job is customer service. We had to walk out and spend our money at a different bar. You need to fix your attitude because you being a bartender do not get to decide who you want to serve and who you don’t. I can see if I came in overly drunk and being refused service but I just got done with work and was expecting to be served and instead I got eye rolls and attitude. Being a bartender is about customer service honey and you definitely need to fix your attitude. I will tell all my friends and family to go elsewhere for service.

Kelley is amazing!! If you haven’t been in to River Pub while she is working, you are missing out! She has amazing customer service, and is probably the best bar tender I’ve ever met! My drink was never empty and the bar was full! She smiles and talks with every customer in the bar. Please go say hi to Kelley if you’re in the area.

One notable feature of this place is the ovular/U-Shaped bar. While some may find this to be an interesting configuration, allowing people to be seated 360 degrees around the bartender, I dislike it because it allows for opportunities to have awkward eye contact with the patrons seated across the bar from you. Good drinks and fair prices though.
