I stopped here with my best friend when we were in town, wanted something filling but also affordable and we came across there 5$ deal, which consist of a cheeseburger with lettece, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard and mayo. A 10-piece popcorn chicken with 2 dipping sauce, order of fries, and a drink. We were very pleased! Thank you!

The burger was good but the chicken tenders were dry and flat with too much seasoning. The fries were both hot and cold as well as smashed inside the container. It could have been due to the time I ended up going there but I would try it again just because the burger was perfect.

My husband picked up some chicken bites tonight. He ended up waiting because they said they had to cook the food. When he got home w had to toss out more than half of our chicken because it was hard as a rock. Hard like it’d been sitting there a while and was thrown in the grease to heat it up. What a waste of our money! Chicken bites was my favorite but now I will not be eating there anytime soon. I am so disappointed and mad my food was so worthless.

Went to this location on 12/17/24 and on the evening around 5:17pm and ordered two popcorn chicken combos, the popcorn chicken was so old and hard that you couldn’t even chew it, the fries was ok, and the drink was the only thing that was done right. I hate when people give you food that they know they wouldn’t eat, times are to hard and people don’t have money just to waste and I will not be going to this location ever again.

My experience at Checkers was okay with satisfactory standards being achieved. The food wasn’t as good as my last visit because the food quality standards had decreased and compromised the overall taste of my food ordered. As for customer service, it was fine and more lackluster than anything. I’ll eventually return, but not in a hurry, unfortunately, because I love Checkers seasoned fries. This was a mediocre experience with mediocre food served at Checkers on Dawson Rd.

Worst experience from top to bottom. They didn’t even know about the new $5 meal. I saw the Billboard and came right over. The nuggets and burger were cold and airy. Fries were over cooked and greasy. No condiments. I asked for ketchup and she gave me 1 single pack. Ridiculous. I see why the drive-thru was completely empty during prime lunch hour. I should’ve just went to the only other location on Slappey. I certainly won’t be back to this one.
