I am going to start this review by mentioning what brings me back to Spudz. Spudz has an atmosphere that makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in. The servers greet you kindly and make you feel like you belong. Michael at the bar for example is very helpful and consistently checks on you to make sure you’re still doing good. This is a restaurant that you should go to if you want to have a relaxed experience with helpful and kind service, as well as fantastic food.
The food is another point worth mentioning. All the food is freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. They only use beef tallow to fry their fried food like their fries, which I greatly appreciate. The fries here are some of the best you can get in Longview, in my opinion. They have so many creative food options, most of which i have tried, and they are all quite exceptional.
All in all; the food is fantastic, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is welcoming and makes you want to come back.

Stopped here for a quick bite. The burger was good. They had basic beer/cider options which was nice. My server was great and very attentive. Ilo really it was a nice place to stop foe lunch.

First of all, this is a sports bar that serves pizza, burgers, and baked potatoes. My daughter got the baked potato stuffed with sausage (it was well stuffed), I had a burger, and my wife had a pizza. We were all well pleased with the food, but being a sports bar it was a little noisy. The room is one big open area, so it gets fairly loud inside. The waitress was great and answered all of questions.

Please ignore Dan the truck bubba’s uneducated review. This is one of the best spots to have a hometown mom-and-pop burger or pizza. The burgers are fairly priced, cooked to the perfect temperature, and just melt in your mouth. I would rather come here, be welcomed, and enjoy food that is made by passionate people who are happy to see you.
Rather than the chain wattaburger down the street that burns the patties, this is where Dan the truck bubba should probably go since his pockets hurt too much for the other place. This is one of the hidden gems of Lakeport and is one of my new favorite spots and is approved by Alex the macchiato guy!

Such a chill, inviting environment. Great for adults, big parties and very kid friendly. The smash burger was bomb and super fresh. Our favorite by far was the pizza. They use dough that’s very pure and you can taste the difference. My son has texture issues and is very very picky about what he will eat and he ate 5 pieces of pizza. definitely a good experience that will only improve with more time to establish itself.

I stopped in tonight after coming across this place on google maps and it definitely did not disappoint. We had the pickle pizza and added hamburger to it as well as a double smash burger. The food was incredible (I don’t know how they get that pizza crust so crisp on the bottom but I’m in love), the ambiance was perfect, the music they played was good and not too loud, the service was awesome. I will definitely be back!

I’ve eaten at SPUDZ in Lakeport several times. The Texas Tornado breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon and chorizo is awesome. The quality ingredients used in the hand tossed pizza makes for the best I’ve ever experienced. The smash burger is also excellent – I have them put sautéed mushrooms, onions and black olives and wow – it’s the best burger in all of Texas! I highly recommend this place not just because of it’s excellent food, but also the fun and friendly environment. It’s a good place, give it a try!
