Lately, within my last couple visits, it seemingly shows that new management must have taken over, laid off some of the staff that have been serving their loyal customers for years, and cut corners around their customer service.
Unknowingly, the policies for the restaurant were changed to limit the amount of dining time to an hour and 40 minutes. Meaning, you had 1 hour and 40 minutes for an “all you can eat” dining experience. However, there are numerous reports of the lack of attentive waiters bringing you new plates, essentially running your time limit.
In my experience, after exactly an hour of eating, the male waiter came by and turned our stove off without any heads-up and walked away. At this point , I had not noticed their new posted policies, either way he turned it off after we had sat down an hour ago to enjoy our $33 all you can eat meal.
We then waited ten more minutes until service came by and gave us our check. It’s always upsetting to experience bad service in a food setting, but even worse when it’s your favorite go-to spot.
The food, service, and overall quality were all outstanding, and the price was absolutely worth it. The two servers taking care of us were incredibly fast, attentive, and always appeared at the perfect moments to make sure we had everything we needed. They even brought over a fun spinning-wheel game, and our table won a free dessert!
One server in particular was exceptionally kind, always smiling, and paid close attention to our table. She explained every type of meat as she served it, and the moment I accidentally dropped my spoon, she reappeared instantly with a new one without me even asking. It’s been such a long time since I’ve experienced service this thoughtful and seamless. I was genuinely impressed.
It was a truly perfect company lunch. Highly recommend!
Arirang Korean Restaurant gave us the kind of experience that slows time down.
Every dish was prepared with intention, balance, and deep respect for flavor—nothing rushed, nothing careless. The food didn’t just arrive hot; it arrived thoughtful. Each bite felt like it came from tradition, not routine.
What truly set this place apart, though, was the service. Even without a crowded room, we were treated like honored guests—attentive, gracious, and genuinely kind. No pressure, no pretense—just warmth, dignity, and excellence.
This wasn’t just Korean barbecue.
It was hospitality.
It was craft.
It was care.
Thank you for making us feel like royalty and feeding us like family. We’ll remember this experience long after the last bite.
The food was good and was AYCE so it did make up for the minor inconvenience. But because of that it lost that little extra that would have made it a 5 star.
I really liked this place.
