like going to Toyo and it’s been one of my go to spots for sushi Stockton. Lately though , the portions especially the amount of fish have been smaller than before. The quality is still good, but it doesn’t feel like the same value it used to be.

I love this place! The staff is always super nice…I think it’s the owner (or mgr) he’s so polite & helpful. The food is always great tasting. We both got the dinner special & shared a fried Philly roll! The hot tea hit the spot! On my way out I saw a cute cup with sake…I had to buy it to go!

I ordered bay bridge sushi, it’s really yummie like what it looks, and the asparagus stick is crunchy. 3 items dinner for 15.99 but all from chicken. If orders with beef 18.99. The sevice is quite fast, the restaurant is not that big. It will be my go to for japanese foods.

Toyo Sushi has fast become not only my favorite sushi spot in Stockton but one of my favorite restaurants anywhere! The sushi is fresh and delightful to the tastebuds. The one thing that AMAZES me though is the customer service. On just our second trip in they remembered that I like substituting soy wrap on any rolls that I get. Even now months later they always know what I like. It’s hard to find places like this anymore. It looks like just a hole in the wall across from Starbucks but in my opinion it doesn’t get any better for sushi in the City of Stockton.

Don’t waste your time. Not terrible, but not that great. The avocado inside my roll was hard, and not ripe. The sushi was meh, at best. And please stop cooking the chicken the day before. The chicken teriyaki was pretty bad. It wasn’t uneditable, but it was borderline. I was hungry and this place works, but I think next time I’ll take a hard pass.

Good sushi for the area, limited selection. The restaurant it tucked away in the corner when you walk from the parking lot. I almost missed it walking up because there is no clear sign. We ordered the dragonfly roll, salmon handroll & soft shell crab.
