The food was very good. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. I just Love this place. I call my orders in. They are always ready with my order and my food is hot when I get home! I recommend this place! I’m sure you will not be disappointed

This place runs like a well oiled machine!! After a long day of work I tried to pick up some fast food, and they made me wait 45 minutes after ordering before I gave up. Called El Metate on my way over, a less than 10 minute drive, and even on a busy Friday night and 3 people ahead of me in line for pickup they had our two special orders ready in less than 15 minutes after my call! Even had time to get a shot at the bar. The food is always high quality and as someone who was in restaurants for 15 years I am always impressed at the speed of service no matter when you go in. And the food is always amazing.

This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. The service is fast and the food is always hot and comes out quickly. My two kids love the cheese dip. My husband is more adventurous and has maybe 10-15 dishes he rotates between (a few with shrimp and he loves them). I stick with fajitas, sometimes tacos and enchiladas, or pollo con queso (their version of a pollo loco at other Mexican restaurants). The manager or owner (I’m assuming) is usually walking around and he always asks how everything is. We always leave happy!

Just passing through and thought we’d stop, had the Hawaiian Burrito, it was amazing, huge, and had a bit of everything. Salsa was up there with quite a few of those I have back home. Service was super fast and friendly.

I’ve lived in Texas my entire life and consider myself a Mexican food enthusiast, and the Hawaiian burrito is one of the best burritos I’ve had in my life. The salsa may actually be the best I’ve had in my life. 10/10 will probably never eat here again because I don’t live in Tennessee. But I will dream of it.
