10 stars!
I was in town for a funeral. After the funeral my son wanted dessert so we were wondering the streets of downtown looking for a quality place with acceptable food. This place really hit the mark on so many levels.

I’m mainly a vegetarian, but I will eat meat 2-3 times a month. I decided I wanted a steak and ordered the filet. I was warned my well done steak would take 30 mins. I agreed thinking she didn’t know what she was talking about because it never takes 30 mins at home to make a well done steak.
This is the longest time I have ever waited on a steak. And I hate meat! This was the best steak I ever had in my entire life. I don’t know what marinade or glaze they are using but I wished I had ask for the recipe because I can’t afford to fly to Little Rock just for a steak every time I want meat.
The waitress recommended the warm chocolate cake and it was delicious. The ganache gave it a richness that was truly divine. The 3 cheese macaroni was great too.

We weren’t really hungry due to having a late lunch. However, our filet was so tender and juicy with a great flavor. We enjoyed our meal and keylime pie for desert. Overall, we were very pleased with Cache!

My wife and I enjoyed the Valentines special this evening. It was phenomenal and perfectly prepared with all the flavors complimenting each other very well. The proteins paired well with their accompanied sides, the sides also could have been served al la carte and would have still been amazing, the sweet potato pave and the truffle mashed potatoes were to die for.
The staff was very friendly and our waiters, Rob and Justin, were very attentive polite and personable. The table side Caesar salad, was delicious and the young man that made it was entertaining and polite.

Went there recently for a birthday dinner, set up a reservation. We were seated pretty promptly and drinks were served in a timely manner. Our main waiter, Jojo was so sweet, lively and attentive. And other staff checked on us if needed for water and getting empty plates out the way. We got calamari, crab claws and crab cakes as appetizers, calamari was simple with the seasoning, but the lemon provided helped it! The crab cakes were a 4, the best app was definitely the crab claws, the sauce was quite good. Me and another guest in my party got the chicken and shrimp scampi respectively, both were good, shrimp was tender and seasoned well. At first bite, my chicken did seem a little over-salted but it was an end piece, but overall the chicken was great! The scampi sauce was thick and covered the pasta wonderfully. The other guest in my party actually got a lunch special, the chicken stir fry, it was quite a big portion and it was filled with veggies and topped with chicken. Since it was my birthday, they gave me two options for a free dessert and I chose the bread pudding, was my first time having it and I was not disappointed! Overall, the dinner was pretty good in terms of service and atmosphere!

Food can be slow to come out, but it’s worth the wait! Delicious. Great atmosphere. Plan to valet your car. Not a lot for vegetarians, but there is a pasta dish you can order without meat if you need.

I’m giving it a 3/5 only because I think with what they have it could be so much more. Yes, you expect to pay $20-$40 for an entree, but it was unimaginative. Very cut and paste per usual upscale restaurant. They had no special sauce or side dish(except their shoestring fries) with their entrees to make you want to come again. Their crabcake remoulade was so-so. Steak was perfect temp and delicious, and it came with really good fries. My date had sea scallops that were ho-hum (again, nothing to make them worth the expense). Friends date’s sea bass was good. The service was almost too much, meaning water refilling every 3rd sip. Not many bottles of wine under $45 and of course the one we ordered was fresh out. Place is visually quite nice.

We had high hopes for Cache but were thoroughly disappointed from start to finish. We arrived at 6:30pm on a Saturday to an almost empty restaurant, yet it took 20 minutes just to get out first drink order. The service remained painfully slow the rest of the evening, with empty glasses sitting on the table for most of the meal.

The appetizers were a huge letdown. Do not order the crab claws – they’re the size of crawfish claws and completely not worth it. The meat and cheese board was underwhelming, with only two sad cheese options, apples and a few sad grapes that looked like they’d already been picked over.

For the main course, we ordered the ribeyes, which were thin, poorly seasoned, and over salted. The sides were just as bad – greens that were bland except for the massive amount of salt and what I think was potato O’Brien that tasted like something straight out of the frozen aisle. None of us finished our meals.

To top it off, we were celebrating a special anniversary with close friends, and the entire experience was a three-hour ordeal of disappointment. As the evening wore on, the crowd became loud, uncomfortable and unpleasant, adding to our frustrations.

We won’t be returning, and we strongly advise others looking for a nice dinner in Little Rock to look elsewhere. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in the city.
