They could not have been more friendly! We saw this place in the strip mall on north maize near Knolla’s pizza and thought, why not. Well, we were pleasantly surprised! We were welcomed immediately, the menu was expansive and affordable. I ordered a beef fried flour taco, it was a very flavorful shredded beef. My husband ordered the loaded nachos, also very good. Portions were large. I gave the atmosphere a 4 Star just bc tables were covered in plastic and it felt scattered. But, definitely worth the visit!!!

The wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Thursday. There were a few other people dining in. We were greeted and placed our order. Our food was out in about 5 minutes. The lady taking orders and bringing out food was very friendly.
I had the Wichita Burrito or what I always called a Sancho along with a beef taco and rice. My wife had grilled chicken tacos. We both were very pleased with our food. The burrito had great flavor. The beef taco was shredded beef and was also very good. We look forward to returning to try some other things. If you’re looking for quick Mexican food well above the fast food chains, this is a great place to consider.

If you love big burritos. Good salsa verde and a clean, open atmosphere. You will LOVE Ibarra’s.
I got the Colorado Burrito. Steak, peppers, onions, potatoes. Top tier. Absolutely flawless. Came out super hot and I had to wait a minute before eating. But it definitely is better than having cold food.
Slapped some green salsa on it with every bite and I was in HEAVEN. Absolutely love it.
I hate to reference other restaurants in reviews. But if you’ve ever heard of Rene’s you’ll be on board with Ibarra’s. Very very similar price point and food fare.
I would definitely suggest stopping by. Either dine-in or drive-thru. Get yourself an Ibarra’s Burrito today!

It’s probably not going to replace our favorite Mexican spots any time soon, this place was certainly a contender with its clean, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere. The food, generally speaking, was tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the salsa bar that they offered. However, the flavor of the fajitas just didn’t hit the spot for me, and I was a little confused why they served 1 giant tortilla with it rather than 3 or so smaller ones. The carne asada fries and taquitos were delicious, but didn’t beat the competition in my opinion.

Recently moved to the Maize area and found a true jem! Ordered the Machaca breakfast burrito and it’s become our favorite amoung the other varities, highly recommended! Very reasonably priced given the size and the amount of fillings, very delicious too!!!
We’ve eaten their lunch/dinner items and everything we’ve had is tasteful and of good portion size!
This has become a favorite place of ours for sure!

Went for lunch with high expectations based on reviews. Overall the food was very bland, except the birria and consumé, which had a good flavor. Big portions, lots of variety, clean atmosphere, but we probably won’t be back.

I ordered #8 (carnitas combination plate) for pick up by phone. The food was ready when I got there, which was great. But the meat was so dry! No amount of sauce could make up for how dry the meat was. Disappointing.

First timer today and I’ll absolutely be returning. The portions are sizable and food is great. The lady assisting the drive through was so helpful and was simply a joy. We had a burrito, rice and 3 flavors of tacos.
