As a chef, this place has been on my bucket list for years. A Mason Bordier butter tasting flight to start the meal!!! Just Wow. The rest of the food was also excellent (particularly the two fish dishes and the lamb we had) and the atmosphere was welcoming and jovial without being stuffy. The staff was delightful and helped me celebrate my birthday in a truly memorable way. Bonus that we only had to walk two minutes back to our hotel after the most amazing meal. Shall be returning to the shop this morning (attached to restaurant) to stock up on butter to bring home.

An incredibly unique and delicious pairing menu centered around different artisan butters and lobster. Each four dishes, simply superb. Amazing subtle changes to normal flavors with the selected butters (Madagascar vanilla, raspberry, chili, truffle. Excellent service and a beautiful white wine selected by the head waiter. I would have loved a more generous pour on the champagne; it was pretty short. Wonderful meal from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect! We have eaten here many times over the last few years, and every meal is an utter delight–from the complimentary amuse-bouche, to the 8 different kinds of butter, all the way to the scrumptious dessert. It is also very easy to make reservations online.

Had an absolutely delicious meal here. Started with yummy bread and a sampler of the most delicious butter. Followed this with the duck which was melt in your mouth delicious. Service was excellent. Highly recommend you dine here if you get a chance

We had a delicious meal here, butter and bread is fantastic as a few posters have mentioned. Lady that served us was very nice…attentive enough without being intrusive. Relaxed feeling restaurant, looks very cool only suffered from lack of customers on the night we were there (Tuesday) which is a shame as people are missing out on some lovely food. Not cheap but a good quality dining experience

We have passed in front of the Bistro so many times, we finally made it inside 🙂 We decided to go for the scallops 4 courses menu, it was excellent, the scallops tartar was so good ( and I am usually picky with raw scallops…). They also had a very affordable week/3 courses lunch menu which looked very tasty.

Definitely worth to eat there to try their 8 butters platter! Delicious food for 28 euros for 3 course. Very good wine but a bit expensive. The service wasn’t very good, they need to improve it.

Excellent food in a very nice environment with friendly service. Lunch menus are varied (though having two choices for the main dish would be great) and fairly priced. The butter plate that every table receives along with delicious bread is a highlight!
