I got the Seafood Gumbo and the Shrimp Creola! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the seafood filling tasted fantastic. The sauce was very flavorful! Didn’t love the green beans but I’m willing to overlook that part and reorder for the next time! Service was great!

Food was good. It’s kind of hard to find real southern cuisine, and they hit the mark on the jambalaya and crawfish etouffee. The beignets were fresh and soft. Short ribs were a little too salty and not as flavorful as I would have liked. Collard greens a little dry. Gumbo was mostly rice than seafood… They do have a small but good cocktail menu and several wines and beers to choose from. Service was really slow although it was only a third filled during normal brunch hours on a weekend. The server was friendly, but did not check on us often.

The holiday decorations were up. It’s great for families and couples. They have indoor and outdoor seating, very comfortable location, easy to park.

Been here twice and the food is consistently good. Dined in once and ordered takeout the other. This and Brenda’s are my favorite southern food restaurants in the bay. I’ve tried the cup of seafood gumbo $13, cajun jambalaya entree $29, crawfish and shrimp etoufee entree $30, beignets $6, corn hush puppies $10, cornbread $5. Food is excellent. Great flavor, not too salty. Only complaint is that the chicken breast in the jambalaya was dry. Portions are reasonable for the price. Minus one star because they quoted 20 mins for pickup and it was actually 50 mins. Not acceptable. I can understand 10-15 mins late. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is easy in their lot or on the street

I came im for lunch around 1130 on a Friday. I was the only one there at the time and I sat at the bar. It’s a cute, cozy establishment.

Food was quick and excellent. I had the boudin balls, which are a bit different tham traditional Louisiana boudin, but they were still tasty. The gumbo was nice and had a good portion of seafood.

Service was a bit slow. I had my boudin balls before the bartender determined they didn’t have the mezcal to make one of their signature drinks. I then ordered a sazerac, which ended up with orange juice in it. The bartender was doing his best and it tasted fine, but also not a traditional sazerac. Staff was polite, but not overly spcial, but perhaps because they were just starting the day.

Proces were easily fair for the food and average for the drinks.

New to the Bay Area and as southern belle I was truly impressed by the food along with the custom service. This establishment was family friendly. We came with our daughter and she had the mashed potatoes and chicken strips. Although not pictured, please take my word for it – She’s a picky eater and she enjoyed their food! If you’re ever in the area please check them out.

Amazing experience. Our server was amazing and extremely attentive, perfect timing throughout the meal. The food was delicious and well seasoned. Loved how pretty the plates will and they were filling on top of that. Definitely worth the price point. The cocktails were elegant and delicious and I loved how cute the atmosphere was. Im eating here again and again!!!

Crispy fried chicken that’s perfectly seasoned. The two sides I picked rounded it out nicely—comforting, flavorful, and just the right balance. Simple, satisfying, and totally hit the spot

I am completely honest with my reviews so let me say the service and atmosphere is top tier however I can not say the same about the food. I like my food flavorful and the food had no flavor or even any seasoning. This is a creole /Louisiana restaurant yet there are no creole or southern people cooking which explains the lack of flavor. I am disappointed. I can’t lie. I wanted this restaurant to be a place that I can recommend and visit often however this isn’t a restaurant that caters to real southern people. The presentation is immaculate but you can’t taste looks. I hope this is helpful.

What a lovely and cozy restaurant. Lovely warm ambiance and great service. The fried chicken and catfish were amazing, and I’d even come here just for the desserts. The restaurant wasn’t too loud so it was easy to have a small group conversation and we were able to get seats on Friday night. Thank you CreoLa!

I’m staying down the street at the Hyatt Place and needed dinner nearby. I ordered the Crawfish and Prawn Etoufee and for desert the Silk Pie. I ordered it to go from their website and it said to pick up in half an hour. I arrived exactly half hour later and they were just boxing up my food. Nice! Unfortunately they did not have utensils for take out orders so that kinda sucked. Inside it was decorated like Mardi Gras and was very nice. The food was excellent and I ordered it hot and spicy. It was not really hot and spicy but it was still good. There was plenty of shrimp and crawfish and the gravy was super tasty. The desert was also great and left me satisfied. Support small local business rather than the big chain restaurants if you can!
